Lisa jewell is amazing I read three of her books including Then She Was Gone. As much of a thriller/mystery that it is it’s also sad when you find out what happens to her daughter, I shed a couple tears. All her books have different character perspectives that eventually wrap up nicely and come together. Hope you enjoy!

I read Something Wicked this way comes by Ray Bradbury and absolutely loved it! This year I’m planning on reading Halloween Tree by Ray Bradbury, The Woman in Black by Susan Hill, In the company of Witches, The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde & Halloween Party by Agatha Christie

I LOVE SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES! I'm convinced it is the BEST halloween book, and I re-read it each October. I also adore the halloween tree, and if you liked those two, might I recommend ray Bradbury's short story "The Homecoming"? It's a very heartwarming tale about a human boy raised in a family of spooks!

I personally think that Coldest Girl in Coldtown is so underrated! It's not an incredibly deep book but DAMN isn't it fun! Also the protagonist is one of the few that I really liked, she has never made me scream at her to not do the stupid thing because I agreed with her ahahah

I LOVED Kerri Maniacalo’s Stalking Jack the Ripper! 🔪
You should 100% read it this month. It is one of my favorite books and there are so many layers to the story that are just so good! I can’t wait to see your thoughts - I would love to watch a reading vlog on that one!
Enjoy your start to Spooky Season! 🎃 👻

I really want to read Frankenstein this fall too and I'd also love to read Shutter island (I'm sad I've watched the movie already bc I didn't know there was a book but I still need to read it). I've read Peculiar children a while ago but for some strange reason I've never continued with the series... 🤷‍♀️ and I've watched Coraline for the first time earlier this year and it was SOO creepy (it was much worse for me bc I've watched it alone) I don't think I could read it. 😅
