When it comes to the modern day political spectrum, Libertarianism / Minarchism and all the ideologies based on Classical Liberalism are on the far-right side. Extreme right would be Anarcho-Capitalism. People on the right believe that the best outcome for society is achieved when individual rights and civil liberties are paramount and the role - and especially the power - of the government is minimized.

It's good to see the population wake up, in the case of Milei I wish him all the best, his country deserves it, also I really want to see an anarcho-capitalist libertarian in action, hopefully the other side that has controlled the country for decades let him govern and don't get in the way (yeah that's gonna be hard), or he finds a way to do what must be done, maybe by creating a coalition with the centrists and the other center-right party of Macri. Fingers crossed.

THE SOLUTION TO THE EU IS SIMPLE. The EU needs to remove/delete all the sections about asylum-seekers and immigration from the EU agreement and allow each country to manage, create their own laws, regarding asylum-seekers and immigration for their own country.

    How can observers be "shocked"?
If establishment politics for YEARS do not listen to 50-80% of the population, people will eventually go for the fringe candidates.
As a Swede, I've seen establishment politicians (left and right) slowly destroy our society. We didn't get to vote on some truly defining decisions they made for us. The situation is now so bad that the country's future is at stake. It's so bad, in fact, that the establishment itself is starting to admit, that "maybe mistakes have been made".
And yet the commentariat is "shocked" that a populist party is now pulling the strings in the new government coalition!

  • @michaelverkerk9449

So true including in Australia with a Labour government that doesn't represent the views of the average Australian. Their Yes campaign failed which had a hidden agenda which was in the detail of the Uluru statement costing $450 million of tax payers money. Then having a Prime Minister who should of been a moderator on this referendum was the aggressor pushing for the Yes campaign and getting money from big business to support the Yes campaign. Albo is the most low life Prime Minister this country has ever seen. Then you have their net zero carbon emission campaign to install by 2030 at the cost of manufacturing, business, employment and sending the country into a energy chrisis that will take years to get out of causing the country to be blacked out and energy rationing which is already happening. These governments never seem to get it. Our country under Labour in 1974 signed the Lima document to give 40+ percent of our manufacturing to third world countries, then in the 1980s labour adopted the Neolibreralism deregulated the country shutting government workshops down causing in NSW an estimate of 20+ thousand 1st year apprentices to get jobs. Then the GFC instead of going into a recession just print more money and the next thing 0 percent interest rates and put a heap of money into house buying causing a false economy that will take years to sort out. I like many Australians are sick of the waste and money that the government doles out around the world. All low income workers didn't get a good tax return last financial year or had to pay I got back $118 what a joke when Albo just gave away $240 million to oversee aid. We have a housing crisis that is long term, people living in cars or in the parks, alot of Australians have no savings for their future, job security out the window, and a country that is developing generational poverty from all ages 80 + year Olds to teenagers. Though I find the press not printing this in the media and Im angered by how the Australian people are being brain washed by the governments and media feed a constant false narrative of how things are. Though the Liberal party isn't much better either they have keep the same destructive policies of Labour party going for years. If all the people around the world don't stand up to their governments they will find themselves in slaved to a worthless future of poverty minimum work opportunities, goods shortages, electricity shortages, housing shortages and a life of no future that in the eyes of the elite you are their slaves. 60 years ago if governments produced the same policies as today which have been harming the countries future and economics they would of been charged with treason.

I do not agree. They are not comparable. Wilders blames muslims, and thier unvillingness to integrate. Milei blames Argentinas past, with its history for state subsidies for almost everything since Peron. Argentina simply can not afford it, but has refused to realize it for more than half a century. They are both right wing, but appart from that, they are right wing on different levels.
