I think Walmarts prices have tended to be higher than what they are sold for at target. As an example I bought my shadow high neon shadow uma at Walmart and when I checked out she came up at 49.99 , on the website and at target she was selling for 39.99 and I got them to price match but it really upset me that they wasn't a set price across stores. I barely ever buy my dolls at Walmart unless I cant get them at target. Walmart is also horrible about restocking.

I feel like the costumed dolls are not meant to be collector dolls, just themed dolls, so in that regard I find them a bit pricey. I liked this one more in pictures than in person. The wing situation is disappointing.

They tend put that label on most of the dolls that have less than 6 to a series, dolls that fall outside the main themes, series like Slumber Party and Rockstars and individual dolls like Kia and Ainsley. I don't consider any of those dolls collector dolls.

The costume boxes are fancier, probably so shoppers can better justify the price, but they come across as a regular Halloween line. Nothing really elevates the dolls themselves to collector status so I don't think of them that way.
I bought Eliza 🧚♀️ but I haven’t unboxed her yet the wings make me so nervous I hope to find Demi 🦇 and the werecat 🤞 I won’t be buying the 3 RH until I see sales/clearance 👍👍👍 def don’t understand the price $37.44 each. Robin I did see in person if her costume was separates I would want her more cause I think it’s a missed opportunity to give us spiderweb 🕸 clothes to place over other fashion 🤦🏻♀️🖤. Still would like to see Bella & Violet in person. Demi everything is separates so she’s now my number 1.
Eliza is my second favorite Costume Ball doll after Demi. I like how the angle of her eyebrows makes her look like a dark Fae species. I also get a lot of EAH Faybelle Thorn vibes from this doll. For the Costume Ball line, I will probably only get Demi, because I feel like without the second outfits or extra accessories/jewelry, these dolls are a bit overpriced. I will keep collecting the SH and RH dolls that I truly love though because they are better than any other dolls on the market in my opinion, and dolls like Emi and the Storm Twins have really sold me on these lines to the point where SH is more appealing than MH Gen 3 to me.
You have to realize on the price not only does MGA have to make money but so does Walmart so they upsell a lot of things like that so that they make money plus the retailers make money

I wish they would make like a customball accessory pack instead of always make dolls. Like the pacific coast Bella. Why not just make a fashion pack set with swimsuits for all the dolls or at least both so people could choose. I don't neet two of the same doll, but would like some fashion packs I stead to mix and match. All of them only have two fashions to mix and Mach. So why not cheer leader fashions instead of dolls. Etc. Or both.

The writing on the dress and the pale white look is ugly IMO. I think Rainbow High has run it’s course. I like your new series display or sell. I love her except for the writing on the front part of her dress and the straps of her wings. I'd prefer no writing on the dress and her wings should've been attached to the back of her dress or something instead of using ugly straps.
