Hi, Dennis. Thanks for the Rockport update. Beryl seems to be moving a bit north, but we will still get a wallop of rain, wind and storm surge Sunday night and into Monday. So please keep yourself safe.

I absolutely agree with you, Lisa. I have a really cool self charging solar radio that would pick up various weather stations. It worked great for about three or four years until it got corroded. I definitely could've used that again. I'll have to check Amazon Amazon. It looks like it's going to be a busy summer.

Good afternoon, buddy. If I had north, I think I would put myself in the path of the Outer bands of the hurricane. We have been out of the cone since around 7 AM this morning. We get some tropical storm like weather but nothing like a hurricane. I hope you're doing well, my friend.

Morning Dennis, hey why don't the homes down there sit on 2-3 feet of raised earth, Crete, rock or whatever. Seems like it would help. Stay safe n have a awesome day.
There is a building home requiring new construction to be a certain amount above ground. Some of the homes are older and grandfathered in. Almost all new construction is up on stilts.

Hey Jason. I did see several tracks that have it going more north, but we are still in the cone. I'm in line to get gasoline right now and then making the decision. We will still have to deal with the surge, coastal flooding, and Highwinds. Please be safe buddy. I'm sure you already know this, but make sure everything outside is stowed or tied down.
