This is so good. Second time I hear him preaching message, but the time is right today. I am so hurt and so offended, feeling betrayed, abandoned, dishonored by my daughter and I was blaming God in my heat for not having stopped her with the decision she made. But God respect our choices. And He is not done with me or with her yet. Satan will loose this battle because it belongs to the LORD.

Joelina, hope is never lost! Prodigals do come home. Look up Becket Cook’s testimony of his mom praying for him. On a recent episode of his show, he shared a letter they found after his mom passed away. It was a letter, a prayer really, of her crying out to the Lord on her son’s behalf. Her prayers were answered but her son shares his perspective as the one lost. I think it’s a tremendous encouragement for us! I pray it blesses you❤

Thought I had forgiven and then after being prompted to pray for them I quickly realized there was still offense in my heart. There are no lies you won’t tear down coming after my heart. My wife was (misunderstandingly) offended, her family encouraged her “right” to be offended, and now we’re divorced. She built impenetrable walls to our ruin just like John states. Don’t allow offense to cloud your judgement or it will cost you dearly.
We pray that her heart be broken before God, and she will respond to Jesus’ teachings on forgiveness. We pray she falls before Jesus in repentance

Excellent message. I had unforgiveness which turned into bitterness and I was turned over to the tormentors. It’s a lot easier to just pray for those people and meet with them if need be and get past it.

I don't know this preacher but in a moment of offense and anger it came up on my feed and took it away those feelings. Listened to it 2 times, And yes all offence even adultery. We commit this offense against Jesus all the time and he continues to forgive us that and more. Thank you Jesus may we all have your heart in times of offense. God bless ❤️

Our pride is the reason it’s so hard to forgive…when we don’t get our way or someone does wrong to us or others.
It truly takes the agape of Jesus to view everyone redemptively: to not want them to go to hell or suffer tragedy because they are foolish or selfish or stubborn or just plain sinful and wrong. It’s a huge paradigm shift but once you let go of “me” and view them from the heart of Jesus on the cross, the way you see the world changes.

I really like this message, but then I read Psalm 35, it writes that he had prayed for them in the past tense (prior to the offense) Then David goes back to asking God to not let them be magnified and rejoice over them. So I feel like this was misquoted. Yes we are to love our enemies, but Psalm may not say what you think it says. Not trying to be critical, I went and read the Psalm looking for guidance.

Jesus WAS offended by the money changers, Luke 17 says it is WORSE for those who CAUSE the offense than those who are OFFENDED.

Haven't clearly defined between denial, like Peter, who though it was about the survival of the fittest war machine and offended, going on denial: that is forgiven. Betrayal is not against man, against ourselves and Holy Ghost.

Betrayal is refusal to give up identity as thief and betray those who do. Not the same as 'I don't know the man'.

This is a wonderful message. However, I have a question. Did Jesus not get offended himself when he turned the tables of those selling in the house of worship? Be angry and sin not. When you are angry, are you not offended of something? You can be offended but only for a time. Forgive people yes! But to tell people they can't be offended is like saying you can't be angry and that's not what the Bible says. When you are offended, repent and turn to God. That should be your message. Remember, be angry and sin not. Repent and turn to God.
The pastor said adultry is not in Proverbs 6:16-19....BUT IT IS MENTIONED IN PROVERBS 6:32 But whoso committetj adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul.
