There is nothing more wonderful than seeing a work of art that is truly inspired. Not that you're not inspired with your other works, but there is a certain something when it's for someone you love and you just have that giddy delight deep inside. Just the shape for the bottom tier reflects that.
Wow this is pure talent❤❤❤ as someone who loves baking things I can say I have trouble making a good cake and making the decorating on it good as well but this is amazing 🤩 like how do you do it?!
I was a cake decorator in the 80s and 90s, when virtually all cakes (except for “sheet” cakes) were two 2” layers, no higher than 5 inches (after filling and icing). They were hard enough to cut and serve, with some of it falling apart in the process. Not to mention the traveling and stacking issues! When did these 8-10 inch high tiers become the norm? They’re very pretty of course but they must be very impractical in a logistical sense. The kitchen staff must be at their wits end when it’s time to dismantle, cut and serve them.

Okay, firstly - love the different shapes Secondly - the chocolate AND caramel? Swoon! Thirdly - knowing it's for someone you love makes it ten thousand times better
This looks like it’s going to be awesome. It’s really nice that you made this for your friend, but I think it’s a little cheeky to insist you get to do it how you want it. Weddings are so personal to the couple getting married, so I feel like they should be the ones choosing. Especially as lots of weddings have a theme. I’m glad that they chose the flavours though. And I guess you know you’re friend and probably knew she would like the idea - and could declined your offer of either her or her partner weren’t happy

When she asked me to do the cake I said “can I do whatever I want!?” And she was like “PLEASE DO COZ I HAVE NO IDEA!” Haha she was so relieved. I helped her with the whole theme of her day so making the cake to match was easy as!
It looks lovely and this is just my personal preference but the cake sponge if that's what u call it we'll it's so fat i prefer cakes with barely any cake sponge tho. But the taste hmmm the chocolate and caramel my fav
