The one thing I hate, is too much cladding encroaching too far into the bodywork. This looks like it sadly does. Love my CX-3, but the black plastic was the only downside.
I know most cars have it, & yes it wont rust, but the CX-30 seems to have too broad a strip.

I hope the one we get in Australia will have re-designed plastic cladding.
    It is just too much.
    The CX-4 is way better.

Snakewhisperer I am biased on the cladding. I don’t like in the red version, but the white version looks quite different. But I have to see it in person, first.

Snakewhisperer The CX-4 is still based on the old platform.

@ i merely refer to the cladding on the CX-4.
I will probably buy the machine grey or polymetal grey as it doesn't highlight the cladding so much.
The red is a bit too flash for me and the white too boring.
Going to test drive the 3 tomorrow and check out all the colours then. But yes, I will have to see it in person as well before committing.

I currently have the latest CX% but was considering downsizing providing I can get the right power train and the look is as good or better than the CX5. the cladding has killed it for me.

@@davidoldroyd8950 I've just paid a deposit for one yesterday. Machine Grey which reduces the impact of the cladding (which has also grown on me BTW).
