Julie, in addition to the marvelous point that you just made, the prophet Daniel in chapter 9:24-27 says "in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifices and oblations to cease". That's what Jesus did when He died on the cross. He was the sacrifice to end all sacrifices. NO MORE SACRIFICES! And to make that point, God ripped the veil of the temple from top to bottom just as you said. Now the whole purpose of the ark of the covenant was to receive the blood of the sacrifice on the Day of Atonement. After the last sacrifice was made (Jesus) there is no more need for the ark of the covenant. I believe Ron Wyatt even eluded to this before he died saying that he thought that it was very possible that the ark would never be moved from its present location (where Ron found it). I think it is common sense to realize that God would NEVER allow the blood of animals (that can never take away sin) to be mixed with the blood of His Only Begotten Son. So, the only logical conclusion is that the ark will remain where it is being watched over by the angels that Ron saw in the place where he found it. Finally, if the ark is no more needed, then the obvious question is, "then what need is there for a temple to house the ark?" THERE IS NONE! What do you think of that realization? I'd be interested to know what you think about that.

The Ark never needed to be guarded because it is too dangerous and it can move on its own. I think they tell everyone this to keep anyone from attacking them. I say it's all a bluff. It is explained only the left wings of the angels are raised because the top of the ark (the lid) is called the mercy seat and represents Gods seat on earth and the 2 angel wings are the back rest, thus both wings on each angel are not raised like you seen in the CG picture and also off Indiana jones.

They have an ark of "some kind", but not sure its the one you talk about. Revelation 11:19 Says "The God's temple in heaven was opened and within his temple was seen the ark of the covenant. And there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake and a great hail storm. Therefore some could say it was taken up to heaven and you cannot find it on earth now.....=)

Julie, in addition to the marvelous point that you just made, the prophet Daniel in chapter 9:24-27 says "in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifices and oblations to cease". That's what Jesus did when He died on the cross. He was the sacrifice to end all sacrifices. NO MORE SACRIFICES! And to make that point, God ripped the veil of the temple from top to bottom just as you said.
Now the whole purpose of the ark of the covenant was to receive the blood of the sacrifice on the Day of Atonement. After the last sacrifice was made (Jesus) there is no more need for the ark of the covenant. I believe Ron Wyatt even eluded to this before he died saying that he thought that it was very possible that the ark would never be moved from its present location (where Ron found it). I think it is common sense to realize that God would NEVER allow the blood of animals (that can never take away sin) to be mixed with the blood of His Only Begotten Son. So, the only logical conclusion is that the ark will remain where it is being watched over by the angels that Ron saw in the place where he found it.
Finally, if the ark is no more needed, then the obvious question is, "then what need is there for a temple to house the ark?" THERE IS NONE!

The ark does not look like that. It is explained only the left wings of the angels are raised because the top of the ark (the lid) is called the mercy seat and represents Gods seat on earth and the 2 angel wings are the back rest, thus both wings on each angel are not raised like you seen in the CG picture and also off Indiana jones.

You have hit on a very varied and complicated subject. There have been many books and "discoveries" made. The Ethiopian church is a very ancient one. They have an ark of "some kind", but not sure its the one you talk about. Revelation 11:19 Says "The God's temple in heaven was opened and within his temple was seen the ark of the covenant. And there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake and a great hail storm. Therefore some could say it was taken up to heaven and you cannot find it on earth now.....=)

Gravity works, there was an earthquake and the high priest was supposed to sprinkle the blood of the sacrifice onto the ark. Jesus was on the cross and the high priest also, and so how else to get the blood there?

Correct. This guy had the church site ALL wrong! The church is said to be in Axum. He pointed out one of the 12 carved into the ground churhes built by the Ethiopians. This is why as humans we have to be very careful of misinformation, and come closer to God ourselves thru biblical research and prayer However, my opinion only. It may have been in Axum, or maybe Menelek was given a replica. But Ron Wyatt found it in Jerusalem, in Jeremiah's gratto via Zedekiah's cave back in the late 1980's.
