Who’s been to Tokyo Tower before?! I’ve been up the tower a few times, but this was my first time visiting Atago Shrine. It was a very nice shrine in the middle of the busy streets in Tokyo. I definitely recommend visiting here if you are around 👍
Can also confirm that Tokyo Tower is on a mountain lol. I didn't realize it at the time when I walked (climbed?) up there, years ago. I was wearing dress shoes at the time, when I should have worn running shoes. It was a bit of a workout, but one of those must-see 'bucket list' things on my Tokyo visit.
Been to Tokyo Tower before but proceeded to Zojoji Temple instead. Atago shrine is new to me and thanks for vlogging its beauty. I'll make it a point to visit that shrine when I return to Tokyo. Ki wo tsukete kudasai.
Hi Sarah, first off - nice video so thanks for posting/sharing. Those stairs to the Shrine - wow! I think I'd pass and stay at the bottom. Maybe in my younger days I would have tackled with ease, but I'm no spring rooster anymore. :) Tokyo Tower reminds me of something ...hmmmm .....in Europe perhaps .......Paris France ....isn't there a tall structure there that ...nah. Can't be. :) Nopppon the Tokyo Tower mascot ...what is the questionable shape? ;)

Is the One Piece store & cafe still there? It was probably a limited time thing back in 2020. Maybe another collaboration with a popular anime like Jujustu Kaisen replaced it? I remember another shrine near Tokyo Tower (Shiba park?) that had a lot of little statues with knitted hats on them & pinwheels.
Fun fact: I have never, and I mean ever been within a mile of Tokyo Tower much less been to it 😅 That's right. Nearly 3 years living here and the closest I ever came to it was Shiba Daimon. Yeah I know, I'm lame 🤦♂😅 Anyway, stay cool ✌
