Coach Nick got on the court to demonstrate this symmetrical offense, allowing continuous flow and ball reversal into pick and roll. Just when you lull the defense to sleep, boom! You get a back door or a kick out for an open 3.

Hey Coach, we have been running the triangle for a couple of years now and this year we put this in...I like to watch Stanford play because it looks like they run the triangle too sometimes. They played Oregon St last-night and I noticed they ran Gonzaga. My daughter (the team I coach) was excited because she could see their play being run by another team on TV. I really love the On-Court Demos.

Damn Good stuff coach! I typically run a motion offense with little to no play calling which creates multiple options rather then my kids thinking the play is to set up one guy. The pick and roll continuity provides a multitude of options to choose from. I love anything that's gets the D moving especially with youth BBall running so many set 2 3 zones. Thanks and god bless!

We've been doing this for our middle schools teams against the man to man and it works every time. As long as you allow enough room for the pick and roll to occur, then this offense should work either on the first run through or after a couple times through.

Coach Nick. I saw Mark Few teach this at a coaching clinic. He was teaching it slightly different. He was having the bigs screen away at the other big (elbow 2 elbow) before the onball. Which in turn delays the hedge on the onball. Have you seen them use this in game? Then the screening big drops to rim and trys to seal for a bounce pass into a drop step layups. My Frosh team last year had a lot of success on the second onball once we ran it once through.
Great Content. Love your show. I make it mandatory my kids subscribe to your channel. So many different ways to play the game! Kids and coaches need to be exposed to it all. Thanks!

That is an awesome action. Any action where you screen the ball screener first is great in my book. Few used to run great 1-4 sets that were always clever and cousins with HORNS. Thanks for being such a big part of the conversation! #ImIn

Coach, I can't seem to find any videos on how to build an offensive system. Could we get some videos on that? Like, specifically what type of offense you want to run. Kind of like what Jim Boylen did with defensive system

Well, I think it's fun to see a throw back mentality. That said, old school with player development and the way he communicates is tough to do now...

Coach Nick, you should be hired by Dan Gilbert so you can coach the Cleveland Cavaliers. With your plays of players moving without the ball and getting open I can see you winning a championship almost immediately. This is just me, but I cringe every time I observe the same ol stale iso offense of the Cavaliers. No doubt you would be a MAJOR help.

Love the channel. The players in the video are lazy. I hope you don’t have to pay them very much to be in the videos. I’d love to see you put a defense team on the court.

Wait, What? The 4 man goes down low and picks for the 2 man then when the 2 man comes up the 4 man follows the 2 to set another pick? That is terrible. Back door is not a "Play" but a constant option.

The entire offense is set up to run a two man pick and roll while isolated on one side of the court. I don't know what video you watched
