Way back in the distant past - I was on the team that designed, built and operated the actual Somerdale CurlyWurly making plant - when the parkrun started we met for breakfast (only two of us did the run though)
Glad you enjoyed it. We ran it in the summer when the grass was longer. It looked quite hard to follow with short grass but you obviously managed it. Congratulations on joining the Cowell Club. Four more for me 😊

Awesome story! I will definitely be finding out more about the history of the site.

We just followed the person in front 😀 Thanks
Wow, this looks really cool, adding it to the 'Want to do' list! 😂
Put it at the top of the list, it's great!
Brilliant video of a bonkers course. I thought you only got to run the Curly W. once, but three times!
Yup! You get to enjoy it over and over 😀 but it is at its craziest in the first lap when you have the most runners on it simultaneously.
Ive seen pictures of this spiral parkrun before, def one i need to try. Looks a bit crazy. Congrats on 100 different locations.
It’s a “must visit” parkrun!
Well done!
Thanks 😀👍
