Not related to this, but seeing see y’all later chai reminded me- I had it on my nails with the gold flakie topper the other day, and my 6 year old son stopped me to go “I LOVE your nails, Mommy! They look really good!” XD the thing that cracked me up is I’d had a really bright blue manicure for two+ weeks before, and he hadn’t said a word… then I have this relatively muted, pretty Holo Taco combo and he’s like “yes, that.”
I think the reason the brown was not purchased as much or not as many people leaned towards it is because it’s kind of a weird time of the year to wear brown nail polish. When I think of a brown nail polish I think of fall or some decoration on my nail for winter design
I am wearing a mix of Bep Bep Blue and Purple with Envy with Cosmic Unicorn skin! It’s so beautiful! So happy about this collab because it inspired me to finally buy some Holo Taco. I’ve always admired Holo Taco but felt like my skills and infrequent use of nail polish were below HT’s high quality polishes. Now I’ve purchased some and couldn’t be happier and more impressed. I’ll definitely buy more in the future. Thank you Cristine and Julien 💙
Brown polishes are so underrated! They look amazing with golden or any warm-toned glitters, shimmers and flakes, or even with green ones for nature vibes. I personally also love the combination of brown and pink, it's like choco and strawberry snacks! I have pink glitter topper from drugstore and love to use it over brown base color.
I bought the collection box and I can't believe how much I actually really like a brown polish on my nails! I even did a gradient with One Melon Followers and it looked so cool!

been doing nails for a long time... and highly suggest putting a top coat over the stickers so that the edges dissapear.. i use gel polishes so maybe it works better bc the sticker doesnt have time to get soggy or show bubbles maybe i dunno all i know is that any sticker ive ever used u can see the edge and with a top coat it is POOOF GONE and ofcourse the sticker will last waaaaaaay longer with a top coat
I have the Monstera/Everything Taco combo, and yes, the Solar Unicorn skin is the one that pops out the most. (Side note: Monstera is my new obsession and I wish I’d gotten two bottles 😭.)
Brown isn't super exciting for a whole nail but very useful for nail art! (Especially reverse stamping- I've been looking for a good tree trunk color for a while)

I never really knew how to paint my nails; I didn’t know that I shouldn’t flood the cuticles nor how to not flood them, so I always hated the feeling of having nail polish on cause I could never ignore it. I’d been wanting to try painting them again but I was having trouble choosing colors I loved enough to buy. So here I am, for the first time in 15 years, wearing Bep Bep Blue with Aurora Unicorn Skin and it’s fucking great!! I’m wearing it for myself, but I also have an interview tomorrow so the confidence boost is also great! Cristine is right, holo (or in this case, unicorn skin) saves everything! I can’t wait to try out the other polishes I got!
I'm really not into solid colors but Magical Mustache and the two colors you had with it (on the wheel) are GORGEOUS. (and I know I've said this before) You have the prettiest pinks and burgundy/maroon-like colors I've ever seen. It's just a super happy color for me

I'm gonna try to do the math but for example. Let's start with just black. There are 6 iridescent toppers, the 3 shimmer toppers, the confetti holo toppers, the classic 3 holo toppers, and the gold flake. And maybe got cake but I'm not gonna count it.
This was just the new collection so OCB would not have been included. So 5 new polishes and 17 toppers: 6 unicorn skins, 3 OG Holo tacos (linear, scattered, flakie), 3 shimmers, gold flake taco, everything taco. I don't think Got Cake was counted since it's technically not a topper. But enough people ask to see it so it's like a bonus.
It will not be. The whole collection is limited edition, including the stickers. They made that pretty clear in the announcements and on the website. Because it’s a collab with Julien’s IP and branding, they decided that it wouldn’t be a good idea to continuously restock it from a business/legal perspective. You can see Cristine’s VODS for more info. Unfortunately they made tons of content that wasn’t released before most of the collection sold out, so you’ll still see tons of collection promotion although only one polish and the stickers are the only parts of the collection available.

Bep Bep Blue is the exact color of Carolina Blue. That pastel/powder blue with the slightest touch of purple.
