You need to use a button to get green, if you don't use it, it should be red for pedestrians. So the traffic don't need to stop when there is no one to cross over. So does this detect if someone is near if it just go green after his cyclus?
Hello, As you mentioned above, traditional pedestrian buttons are simple push buttons. Our Non-Touch passenger button is using a sensor that when you place your hand close to to the sensor (3-5cm), sensor receives your cross-over request and depending on the traffic volume it turns the lights green for pedestrians as soon as possible.
