I admire your commitment to training. Life on the road can’t be ideal for fitness, but you are putting up with the bs and obviously making it work. Inspiring!
Your advice on my Dubs, completely helped, went from barely getting one and continuing on, I'm up to 5 before I have to readjust, and I'm staying in one spot, thank you so much for being so amazing and sharing that knowledge with me, just wanted you to know it's so appreciated and is used daily, as dubs are my biggest weakness right now that I'm attempting to overcome!!!!!!
Hey Jason, love the routine. Just an idea but a walk around vid of the RV and truck would be a cool idea for all of us who have the same fitness and off grid lifestyle. Thanks!
Over the last few years I have watched the games and tons of videos on CrossFit competitors. Started watching your RUclips videos over the last few months and I have to tell you, man you have inspired me! I am 36 and for years I thought something was missing, felt like I should be doing something and taking a different path. As of right now I'm making an oath, I will be competing in crossfit at some stage in the next few years, I will put the time in and work my ass off. I will definitely be in touch with you at some point to do someone online training once i have established a better base of fitness. Thank you Jason, you have helped light a fire and there ain't nobody gunna put this out!
Jason, what an awesome video! Seriously can’t wait to see more! And it’s not weird at all with living in an RV full time, I think it’s awesome! Look at the country you and your family have seen! And working out at a campsite is awesome, I did that too when my family and I lived at a campground cabin!
This is one of your better videos Jason! Love the down to earth presentation of the day, hard work, and meals. Would love to see some more greens in your meals 🙂, complex carbs are great for recovery. Keep it up!
Thanks Shayne - Not a big fan of greens. I aim to get most of my nutrients from fruits and meat... but some greens sneak in from time to time. No grains for me (except the starchy core of white rice).
I full time live in a 42’ 5th wheel camper also! I use mostly kettlebells and jump ropes as far as storage purposes and love the workouts that we come up with, using minimal equipment. Super cool to see you full timing as well! What park in Cookeville was this? Was thinking about going through Pigeon Forge soon.
Though I don't work out of an RV, I do have an outside gym. I do find myself trying to be creative when when weather is bad. How do you handle situations like this when the weather is impacting your training based on what is programmed for the day?
Good question! Usually, I will try to head to a gym if the weather is truly bad lol. I will put my RV awnings out, figure out when the weather is the best (break in the storm), and/or do what I can inside. Worst case, I have switched my rest day if I have to.
Hey Jason. Love your videos. I’m a new subscriber. Would love to see a video on your decision as a family to live in an RV. Seems like an awesome family choice but also looked at very differently (like CrossFit to the regular public) thanks 😊
Thanks for subscribing! That's a great suggestion... I touch on it in this video: ruclips.net/video/1_aDSVLosKM/видео.html but could probably do a full video and go into depth!
@@JasonGrubb sick, get busy living or get busy dying! Do you have a video on the equipment you use? Ha sorry for all the ?’s. Great content really enjoy your work. Rooting for ya this year friend!
Not sure if there's a recommended amount (despite the huge amount of anecdotal evidence, there's little research on it)... I splash some into all my water throughout the day.... if you do it, make sure it's raw "with the mother".
Great Video!! Are you somehow with the Mayhem Team now? Just wondering. Keep up the Great motivation to others, especially the over 40 and 50 people working out.
I usually just do GHDs when I drop in at gyms... I have attempted to do them off the back of our deck with my wife sitting on my feet, but it's not optimal LOL
Im really struggling i want to do burpees im smoked after ten i want to get better at running but cant run 2 mins straight ive been hanging from my pullup bar to see how i can build up time with that and im trying to get consistent with strength training but as im sure you can tell im kind of all over the place i keep falling at waking up at 330 or 4 but will try again tomorrow did German volume workout not sure how many set i should really do i thought gvt would give me lots of sets and im trying to raise the weight any advice would be great ps i also try to jump rop for sometime now
Sounds like you need a program to follow consistently. There's plenty of room on the runway to get the work done, no hurry. A consistent program will help ya get there - so you don't have to figure out what to do day after day. Let me know if you want some guidance on a good plan to follow.
We just decided that we had the opportunity to do something pretty special for our whole family and went for it! Kids really enjoy it and we aren't locked into this being our forever... if/when our family has different needs we'll adapt.
Jason, I seriously love the minimalist travel set up. It just goes to show you don’t have to have $50,000 in equipment to train for life!
Absolutely!!!
“This should be normal” well said Jason.
Glad you agree! I definitely got fired up lol
I’d like to see a ‘this should be normal’ t-shirt
How long in between do you test before starting the second session for mayhem?
Thanks once again Jason for keeping us inspired and for sharing your life with us. Much admiration from Spain 💪🤘
You bet buddy!! Thanks for watching!

I appreciate that! It has it's struggles, for sure!
Jason Grub is even nice in his rants. Hit the nail on the head. We aren’t weird for valuing fitness and movement. Keep doing you.
LOL, thanks!

That's awesome to hear Mark... thanks for letting me know! Great job attacking your weaknesses!!
Respect man, thanks for sharing your journey, you are a great motivator!!!
I appreciate that!! Thanks for watching!

Great idea
Thank you for the insight and motivation!

Wow dude... I'm stoked for you! I'll be ready for ya! I'm so glad you're on the journey. It's a good one. Worth it.
I also live full time in my RV and I absolutely love it! It allows me to coach CrossFit as my part time job 👍🏼
Right on!
That was a very cool video.
Appreciate it!
looks good love the van lIfe and take nothing for granted . Life is no easy walk in the park. Well done !!
You got that right!
Awesome video! What floor matts are these? They look great.
They are horse stall mats. They're amazing.
Awesome. So honest. No make Up No Filter. I Love This. Greetings from Germany.
Always! Thanks for watching!
You’ve crafted a well-lived existence. Kudos!
Thanks!

Very proud of you

You're welcome Glenn!
Amazing video!
Thanks!
Inspiring luxurious balance.
Welcome to the Volunteer State Jason! What's in that breakfast coffee drink you made? It looks good. Really enjoy following you on RUclips
Thanks! It's a "bulletproof" coffee - MCT powder, about 1 tbsp grassfed butter, cinnamon. Blended to perfection

Thanks for sharing! Kettlebells + jump rope and you can make some awesome workouts!! We are at the Old Mill Campground by Cummins Falls.
Blessings, for brilliant information.
My pleasure!

So glad!

I do the same with water ! Apple cider vinegar definitely works for heartburn
It's so great... sure beats the prilosec I was taking!!
How much. I’m tired of using Prilosec

Hey Ram... I'm a Mayhem athlete. I follow their programming and they're a great team to have!
How do you preform your GHD sit-up living in the camper.
I usually just do GHDs when I drop in at gyms... I have attempted to do them off the back of our deck with my wife sitting on my feet, but it's not optimal LOL
Bolder not older 💪🏽
💯
Jason- “Do you like working out?”
Youngest- “no”
Been there little dude
Classic
Haven't we all 🤣
Is an RV that big? can you give details of the RV?
It's a 42' toy hauler. The model is a Momentum 395 MS. Great rig!!
Good job 👏
Thank you! Cheers!
I can’t imagine the people in the park seeing you every day. How long do you stay at each park? Is home base CO?
LOTS of stares lol. We tend to move around every 2-3 weeks... CO is home base 👍
Good video. I'm almost 39 but still think I'm not a masters athlete yet lol
Haha! So hard to accept 🤣
I agree, training should be pretty much everyday, but then General Mills and the Rx companies lose money, especially if you eat healthy
all true
Do you fit all those weights and stuff in ur rv? :0 we’re do u put them?
They all travel in the "garage" portion of our toy hauler.
What shoes do you wear or recommend?
I wear Reebok Nanos... and lift in NoBull lifters. Nanos or Nike Metcons are both great CrossFit shoes.
💯

Should try costarican coffee
I'm sure it's delicious!
Why do you live in an RV? What about your kids? Just curious. Seems interesting
We just decided that we had the opportunity to do something pretty special for our whole family and went for it! Kids really enjoy it and we aren't locked into this being our forever... if/when our family has different needs we'll adapt.
I want to build a van and disappear🤣
hey jason, what kind of an RV do you have? make model? to fit all equipement
Momentum 395 MS... 42' toy hauler... everything fits in the garage, expect the pull up rig and mats , which travel in the bed of the truck.
Unless you want to be nothing but average then you shouldn’t care of people think weird
Good point!
