Spooky Shopping at Out-of-This-World Antique & Vintage Malls!

- Phantasmic creatures, Titanic proportions and out-of-this-world sights! That's the best way to describe the two antique centers we roll through on our Ohio caravan today, where the Space Age and the Golden Age are ours to explore through the wares of those eras.
Wapakoneta is home to astronaut Neil Armstrong, with an unsubtle reminder in the heart of this small Victorian era downtown! That's where we find Auglaize Antique Mall, where my friend Dave picks a good 1910s Arm & Hammer placard, and I scarf up everything from tin toys to circus glasses in a half-off booth. We quickly send goodies our customers will want to the counter, while pondering everything from child-sized Morris chairs and velocipedes to an I Like Ike campaign scarf.
Then it's on to Heart of Ohio Antique Center, the Springfield destination I'd never seen before! What amazing quality in this store...and such variety, from a table of Barbini glass to a fabulous 1950s candy machine! Dave and I consider a Diamond Dye cabinet, find a funny (and unappetizing) sounding 1910s toothpaste, and have a fantastic but all too short time at this wonderfully curated antique mall.
Who knew when I was filming this that I would soon get to shop Heart of Ohio behind the scenes, thanks to @BernerBrotherAntiques , the new owners of the mall? Check out their fun, fresh RUclips channel, and catch videos from @CrazyLampLady and me about the experience here:

Let's thank George by SHARING his video !!!
Caught about half of the video late yesterday, so rewatching this morning… learn something new each time I watch/rewatch
I’m glad it’s helpful!
Thank you for the continuing education I receive with each new video of yours I watch.
The "strange under ground" is because the building was an opera house and those are old dressing rooms. :)
As always. Everything about your video and your knowledge and humor is scrumptious. Thank you, George🩵
Fun video George! Thanks for sharing!
Another Great Video, thanks George! Also, thank you for the shout-out to George Goehring - my partner and I used to set up at the West Palm Fairgrounds show for several years. We would see George there - he was always so friendly and upbeat. We think of him whenever a Connie Francis song comes on the XM Radio.
Funny too hear Freeride in the vintage mall 😂 totally making me feel my age;)
Good evening everyone 🦩🌴🌞

Thank you George for showing the Hummels by Goebel !
I was recently thinking this very thing. Leave it to George to come through.

I have my grandfathers Elgin pocket watch and it still winds and runs perfectly, it was a hobby of his. I just need to fix the chain and fob.
Good Evening George & Xeno, and Friends

You always find interesting items. 😊
😊😊😊😊
Great video George! Loved those two groovy booths you visited. Thanks for sharing!
They sure had some good MCM! I'm glad you liked it too
Wow... it would take days and days to really begin to find your way in a place like that. And the cellar dungeon... I swear those were prison cells😮... but wow so much history George.
Hello everyone!!!
That was great- thx
Good evening, George! There were some ice tongs there I liked. I liked those Victorian tie-dyes. There was a cherub statue, just before the Hummels, that caught my eye. Loved the Diamond Dyes cabinet! The hardware cabinet was fantastic! Those would be fun places to shop. Not a lot that caught my eye, but it would be fun to "dig" a bit in both places. Thanks for the take-along!
Thumbs up yall
Hi such fun shopping with you ☺ 💕
"And then the blonde ones kept leaving the show." 😁
Well, that's how I remember it! Lol
32:36 George, I've never seen tables like the red and the black
You daid they were open chains? Where would those be used?
Kitchen
Den
Living room?
They're awesome
And so are you!
Well thank you, being compared to any Werner Hoffman design is high praise! The 'open chain' designs were occasional tables, coffee and lamp tables as seen there
💖
Hi
My bucket list go to moon
Weeeeeeeeeeee!
Are we there yet
Fla gator
😅❤👍
Hi George are we there yet ?
Are TV Lamps named for reason that they were put on TVs ? Or were they put on a table to keep room dem when watching TV ?
Great video! At 25:29 what are those amazing light fixtures please? Any idea what the price was on them? Ready to take a road trip, thank you for any help
Those are groovy swag lamps! Gorgeous colors!
Excuse me but why is it expensive to have glassware cleaned?
Nice Thumbnail, George!
George, any chance you'll be passing through North Tx in the near future?
Maybe in spring?
Too much glare on the Titanic painting
Buy me something pretty
You're making me dizzy. You are going too fast.
I'm sorry! This one was a little hurried. I'll try to slow down a bit
Oh and yes, unsubscribing is my next step. Not asking for money, smh
I enjoy your vids until you throw in your Patreon bit. RUclipsrs choose to create vids/vlogs, publish, etc. Most RUclipsrs do this due to a penchant for their hobbies/jobs. No one asks anyone to take up RUclips as a 'job.' You and many others made their choices. Do you go up to a Walmart associate and say, "here's five bucks because you stocked the shelf so nicely?" Stop begging on RUclips. Patreon is simply that, a route to get money from people. Exactly like "preachers" on TV who ask for money. No one asked you to be on RUclips. Don't make enough money to get by, change it. Don't beg !
I just watched a British antiques road.show.that talked about the cliff pottery! So beautiful
Oh neat! I'll look for that episode
