Nice looking bike brother. I subscribed to your channel. I am building a 01 Vs800 myself. On your bars were you able to use the stock cables or did you have to order a kit? I'm looking at a 10" hanger and can't find any info on cable extensions. Thanks brother
Greg Carrell the only cable i had to extend was my speedo bucause i moved it higher, even with the 3 inch fork extensions i added later it was long enough.
That's the look I'm going for on my intruder on that rear fender, can you post a video of how it looks like without the seat, would like to see how you did that
Hi Scott, I really like your bike. My is from 1986 and metallic blue. I wonder how you attached the side bag on your motorcycle. Do you have suggestions? Best regards, Dirck Lammers, The Netherlands
That's a nice looking bike. How do you have the bags attached? Those bags look really good on there. The forward controls, do you have a way to show how you made those. My father and I have been slowly working on a 1998 Intruder. Thanks!
Noe Lozano its the original fender chopped up, shortened ans smoothed out. yes i made the hardtail leveling kit with $6 worth of 2.5x1/2 inch flat bar.
Hi I hsve the same bike a 91 750cc. where did you get those pedals at? I want my far out to but not to far . I'm 5"8. but I want that bad ass look. nice video
Matt Harrell i made them, they are 2 hollow sides with a tube in the center and have thick ready rod through the middle with a stack of washers on each end that are scored with a grinder for grip and the nuts are tac welded on. It works really well and was made completely from scrap materials.
Your bike is quite kick ass!I have a very stock 95 VS800 that I picked up last year. It had only 1860 miles on it and had been garaged the whole time. It looks brand new and is in mint condition, but I would like to do some customizing. What is a good source for Intruder parts and accessories?
Afterburner contact me on fb so we can talk and send pics if you like. search my email scott_ryan_jackson@hotmail.com. some stuff you can do really easy and cheap.
Are you willing to make them forward controls for me I can pay you I’m 6’1 and have the exact bike my 1993 Suzuki intruder vs800 is also bobbed out just need the forward controls the stock ones just won’t cut it
scott jackson interesting...I have a 1995 and I'm trying to bobber it, was gonna cut the rear seat section out but leave enough room for a suction cup seat, but with all the fuses underneath not sure where or how I'm going to relocate them.
scott jackson I thought the same, but it's actually legit. my buddy who has a Harley street Bob does it and it's safe but we will see. I was gonna just cut the original fender too...but im still unsure about it and unsure about how to lower it down like a bobber.
Nice bike. I really like what you did with the rear fender, tail light and turn signals. Nice 👍
Well done like the taillights and leds
How did you build those forward controls
Great build brother I'm looking to do this to my 1500

where did you get the fender from and did you make your own brackets to replace your shocks?
Noe Lozano its the original fender chopped up, shortened ans smoothed out. yes i made the hardtail leveling kit with $6 worth of 2.5x1/2 inch flat bar.
Noe Lozano lowering kit* it also has a bigger tank, straight pipes and a small pad with rear foot pegs now.
Noe Lozano white wall tires, 3 in extentions on the forks and the rims were red but are gonna be black this year.

My first bike i got about a month ago is a 94 vs800 its an awesome ride, Bobber style will deff make it sexier.

Are you willing to make them forward controls for me I can pay you I’m 6’1 and have the exact bike my 1993 Suzuki intruder vs800 is also bobbed out just need the forward controls the stock ones just won’t cut it
Sorry I built that bike years ago and don't have it anymore.
how tall are you?
what did you do for the rear fender? how'd you get that?
JD Bucher just chopped up the original fender and welded it back together, i cut the rear seat section out.
scott jackson interesting...I have a 1995 and I'm trying to bobber it, was gonna cut the rear seat section out but leave enough room for a suction cup seat, but with all the fuses underneath not sure where or how I'm going to relocate them.
JD Bucher i put the electronics under my seat
JD Bucher suction cups dont sound like a very safe way to hold a seat on, your passenger is gonna slide onto the tire and its gonna be ugly
scott jackson I thought the same, but it's actually legit. my buddy who has a Harley street Bob does it and it's safe but we will see. I was gonna just cut the original fender too...but im still unsure about it and unsure about how to lower it down like a bobber.
looks good what are the dimensions on the headlight i want one for mine too :)
henr661b i have no idea, i ordered it on ebay and made my own mount for it
henr661b i also modded it to take a bmw bulb because i couldnt find a replacement and it wasnt very bright.
oh okay but thanks anyway for the response back have a nice day :)
how did you lower it and where did you get the struts?
Danny Rather Jr. i made them from half inch flat bar from a local machine shop, they cost $6 to make.
Are those the stock forks or did you have them replaced
Bryce Watson i did 3 inch extensions but in the video they are stock
Handlebars and headlamp
Nice
