You my guy for the cowboys film. I dont think, or hope not, fans think D-Law is a bad player. The problem is we're pocket watching him. Most of the time you hear this, For the money we playing him..... If you just look at the film, he's a damn good player. He you count stats and look at his salary, you will find a discrepancy.

20th in the league in Tackles for loss, 163rd in the league in Combined Tackles, 37th in the league in Sacks, and he's the 4th highest paid defense end in the league. You've got about ten plays here where he's giving effort and making a play. What about the majority of the plays where he's being completely shut down and blocked out of the play and sometimes doesn't make his presence known in an entire game? $105,000,000 for effort when it's suitable for him. Always watch out for players that mysteriously show up on their contract years. It's not coincidence that he blew the stats up when it was time to get paid, and now that he got his money it's back to the same ole half ass, injured player that shows up half the game/season. The Cowboys will cut him if he doesn't produce this year.

Because of sack numbers aren't high, he's overpaid!?When darrelle revis was shutting down the other team's best receiver and he had under five interceptions did anyone question his talent or if he was worth the money? No they gave him a nickname and he was labeled as the best that his position.Get off demarcus Lawrence's back! Stop judging players by stats only, look behind the numbers and watch some film. I never understood why they hate him so much. His sacks are down but that's because they double and triple team him every play. Theres no difference between a sack and TFL (tackle for loss) and he's probably the best D-End against the run.

High expectations have followed him from a year with an amazing number of sacks and a huge contract that followed.
D-law sacks were down but he was very affective against the run. That's why teams big running plays came opposite of D-law.

@@cowboysfilmroom88 It's been a looooooooooong time. Good defense; Bad offense followed by the opposite, and so on. We have a fresh window to win IF healthy & deep enough to withstand a few injuries. Last season's O-line & front-7 issues spoke the GOSPEL, and Jerry responded with a BIG 'Yes, Lawdy!'

If our run defense Cough*cough*(DT play) was actual good and didn’t allow 300 rush yards a game then Teams would throw the ball more thus producing more sacks

@@dwaynemorris6190 he got the contract because he said he was going to be a double digit sack DE. If he was was complete DE he would be doing that AND be good against the run. He does make the guy on the other end better though.
If they get a pocket pushing 1 & 3 tech DLaw will have more sacks and it will be easy to see how good he is quarterbacks can easily step up in pocket now

you're completely wrong they paid Lawrence because he was able to get to the QB and he hasn't done much of that. that's exactly why he was paid. yeah he's a great run defender but a great run defender shouldn't be making top tier money. I mean it's not that hard to comprehend. they paid Lawrence because he racked up sacks the 2 years he had left on his rookie deal and since he has been paid he hasn't been doing that. it's literally that easy to notice.
When is the last time a cowboys fan felt like Tank took over a game? Never lol. He said “No he’s not up there in sacks with Myles Garret” he’s not even up there in the top 30 in sacks. He’s down there with Benson Mayowa.. cowboys fans remember him? Linebackers have as many sacks as Tank. Sacks matter. I guarantee you the Jones’s aren’t satisfied with the amount of his contract and the production he has put up since signing.

if u wanna know why we can't stop the run for 1 thing LVE can't stay healthy and wasn't quite the same guy when he came back..then go watch some Jaylon tape..half the time he's got no clue what he's doing..often he stands there waiting to be blocked..rarely reads a play and makes plays behind the line..constantly gets himself outta position..I've even seen him multiple times running to the complete other gap and almost knocking LVE outta the way to take his gap and leaving a massive holes in the gap Jaylon shoulda been..with Lee retiring we damn sure better upgrade the LB spot or its gonna be another very long yr..and I'm a Jaylon supporter but tape doesn't lie..can only make excuses for him for so long

Have a mock on my channel as well where I traded back with the Bears to the 20th pick and drafted J.O.K.. Definitely think we’ll be addressing LB at some point in the first two days of the draft
