Coach McKie I think a good thing you could do that everybody would enjoy is breaking down film of nfl and college teams that run the air raid or shoot kinda like coach coddutti does with the wide zone zone just so you can show it to us in games and how it’s ran at higher levels
Topic I'd like to hear: 3 day install thoughts process for a team NEW to the system. I have this thought in the back of my head when I watch all the coaches talk about the 3 day install and I read your book on the offense it just doesn't seem like enough time given the list of plays. If we have guys who already have played in the system it doesn't seem like a lot but if everyone is new what does it look like? What should we expect? 3 day install is install in meeting, walk through then practice? Players are learning the drills for the 1st time as well as the plays. Especially from the standpoint of teaching the QB. Are you installing with him prior to the rest of the offense. Or is he hearing all for the 1st time with everyone else? So what does the first time we meet as an offense, what does it look like from your perspective.
I was with Coach P at Rockbridge for six years he knows the shoot inside and out . I came from a predominant running game so this made me a better coach by learning the pass game we beat schools that people said we didn't have a chance against.
I know this is older but Coach mentioned he went down the field to get the winning score running the RnS in a driving snow storm. I’m surprised that the RnS was functional in a snow storm but assuming it was, what about it makes it a better system for poor weather than the Air Raid, which, as a Washington St follower, I recall Mike Leach saying was not built to work in snow (after we got trashed by UW in the Apple Cup).

I’ve seen running teams struggle in the snow. How many times did Washington State beat Washington before leach got there?

I have long been a fan of the RNS and air raid offense and this video was so insightful. I learned so much more to help my offense.
