that solo was not the lead guitar part but ok
Tuning was a bit off on the solos. Other than that, it was perfect
Is Critical Acclaim only on ps4? Because on my ps3 I can't find it
Its a custom made song so you can probably only get it on PC.
Would you recommend an LTD guitar?
landofold If you like long tuning times (or not caring at all) and mostly play songs with high distortion, go for it!
+UndeadKhaos can you get this song on ps4
+WEREWOLFxALPHA you can get custom songs on consoles but you have to mod the consoles. with PC its a simple thing of downloading a certail file, putting it in the rocksmith 2014 folder and transferring the downloaded song into your dlc folder. much more complicated for consoles.
that wasnt the lead part though.....
Zacky and gates share the solo in critical acclaim, watch them play live and it's clear that they play off of eachother's solos. I always like it when the rythm guitarist gets a little bit of the spotlight.
It was a lead part, but not the main lead part of the solo. For the solo there are 3 lead parts, two of them play a harmony while the last one plays a short shred section over the ends of each harmony section.
Ya it's an annoying ass sweeping pattern that I'm not gonna bother learning. Finally got the entire song and the 2 harmonized solo down though :)
What is the thickness of the guitar pick that you use mostly
+TheRune98 I'd recommend picks that are roundabout 1 mm thick. I use 0.96 en 1.14s. Thicker picks are generally harder to play but sound better. If you are used to 1.5mm, stick to that.
