@@olamideolayinka4130 i'm wearing them right now. They're great for my sensitive ears, and i can wear them all day. although the build quality is mediocre, you just have to be careful with them, but hey, they're $20
I have been using these for over 15 years. I am on my 4th or 5th pair. Just picked up a new set today. Dog decided he was hungry. I also own Koss porta pros. The standard pair black and blue and the super rare all black with black cloth cord. The porta pro are my go to. They are amazing!
So glad that I've bought this instead of a gaming headphone with that '7.1 surround' feature. It's soundstage is very good especially in fps games that I can accurately pinpoint a player position more on forward and behind instead of just around left and right. It's whole sound signature + soundstage are really enjoyable that I actually don't really mind that roll off sub bass. (EQ up the bass does help to bring more of it's bass). Thanks for your review ^^
Honestly and no joke, 7.1 surround or rather Head Related Transfer Functions are the very best thing that I think you can do to enhance how everything sounds. Music and content feels so much more enjoyable and gaming is a lot better too. I've used 7.1 surround sound from multiple manufacturers over the past 10 years and every time I hear just the plain stereo sound, it does feel like an immense downgrade. My DT 990 Pros sound so much better with a Sennheiser GSX 1000 (and an amp), but also my new Hifiman Edition XS. For my Edition XS, I didn't even have to touch the EQ. Just simply selecting 7.1 and selecting one + for soundstage and it feels so much more natural and wide. I absolutely love the sound and this is one thing I'm convinced that audiophiles are missing out on because they reject the idea of 7.1 since it's "artificial" or a "gimmick". But the concept of head related transfer functions is real AND makes sense. I cannot recommend it enough. Seriously.
I really dig the attention to the audio you're putting into the videos, the sound track sounded great, really gets you in the flow of what you're talking about.
The warm lighting of your video is making the KSC75s seem luxurious. In the first six seconds its like you are putting on a high-quality pair of professional audio equipment *only for the best.*
Thanks so much for this Josh. I love these things even though they are bright on the top end for me personally. The headband attachment actually improves the bass a lot more than I expected and brings the sound closer and more detailed overall....they don't sell that headband anymore it appears but it does attach perfectly to a portapro headband belove it or not!
@@giovanbattistafichera8439 yes, the ear clips pop off and then you can swap them into a porta pro or a kph40 headband. Yes it kinda feels like you're about to break them, but tons of people swap them out with no problems.
@@giovanbattistafichera8439 As cheap as they are, I'd buy both porta pro and ksc75 and pick which sound profile and "headband" you like most. I haven't tried the ksc75, but I do have the porta pro, kph40 and kph30i (all with yaxi pads). The porta pro is my favorite for when I'm working and outdoors, the kph30i is my favorite for in home since they have a more balanced sound. And I don't really like the kph40 because they almost sound tinny and too bright for me and I don't like the headband that much. Some people really prefer the 40's though. To each their own... One more note, you can't swap the kph30i drivers because they mount to the headband in a different way than the rest of the cheap koss headphones. And I also removed the foam behind the drivers on mine to get a more open soundstage from them. It was kind of a pain to take them apart without destroying the original pads, but if that's too daunting for you and you want to preserve your stock kph30i pads then you can buy the clear version because they don't come with foam behind the drivers.
These are definitely on ear and not over ear, but still light and decently comfy. Another great review thanks for the great work Josh. NORTHWEST REPRESENT!!!
You can easily modify these ear hooks - replace them with a light weight headphone band from Parts Express, for $7, this improves the comfort and wearability, and moves the soundstage inward a bit.

The KSC75 Are The Least Sound Wise In My Opinion But Still Have Very Enjoyable Sound . The KPH30i Also Has Such A Nice Sound With The KPH40 Having The Best Sound Over All And The Porta Pros Have The Strongest Bass .

These headphones sound extremely nice for the price if you don't need much bass. If these headphones had thicker stronger wires I could recommend them much more. The wires almost guarantee that they won't last very long. I suppose that you could try to solder some decent wires onto them when they fail.
Finally the Ksc75 review. I think they sound great. And so cheap...I bought an extra pair. Why isn't anybody modding these headphones? Take the drivers and make on-ear headphones.
You're kidding, right? Everybody and their grandma is modding these headphones. :D Not that they need anything that's been tried so far. I'd maybe do just the central hole from the Kramer Mod for a touch more air in the upper treble, but I think I've seen a graph where the Kramer mod lowered the bass at the same time, and that's a big NO on these.
Pick up a pair of Portapros and swap out the drivers per your mood. Stock drivers for a fun, slightly bassy sound, ksc75 drivers for a more neutral sound. The bass also improves significantly in the Portapro headband.
Great review. These are so good, way way better than anything else at the price. But like you said, it has a good sound not even thinking about the price. If you want a headband but don't want to buy anything but KSC75s, get the $3 headphones from Parts Express and use that headband; it's compatible. For me, to get the drivers flat enough against my ears to sound really good, I had to bend the clips until they were so tight that I had to hold the drivers with one hand and use my other hand to pull the top of my ear through. Really annoying and painful to wear. I used the headband from my Sporta Pros (Also $20 but same drivers as Porta Pros, which I don't like as much as KSC75s).
