I agree with "criminally underrated," but even that is an understatement. Multiple bangers, with different vocalists too. Deathbox w/ Michael Bøgballe is my personal favorite.
Man, so sad to learn about the passing of Guillaume. I really love Mnemic and One Way Mirror and his job with Scarve was outstanding. So young and talented. Rest in peace buddy, what a sad day...
Mnemic were a huge part my formative years over a decade ago. I was obsessed with them :( huge loss, but goddamn did they put out some music. Rest easy.
R.I.P. Guillaume. Even though your time in Mnemic was short-lived, I have Sons of System on repeat to get through the day. Thanks for the great final chapter for Mnemic.
R.I.P. Guillaume. I saw the group in October 2006 with Soilwork, Threat Signal, and Darkest Hour. Great to see you perform with the group before your first release with the band. This one is my favorite Mnemic songs. Your music will live on.
@@Creepachrist just Googled it, awesome! It sounds like they are going to be doing some 20th anniversary shows. Would be sweet if they got together and wrote some new material, reminiscent of their first albums.
@@BDreGaming oh I am pretty sure they will atleast give us one new track. Think they are just testing the waters with the shows first and making sure they are having fun and enjoying the rebuilding of the band.
I love how unique Mnemic is. They put low notes like F# to such good use. A thousand other "Core" bands get eight strings thinking it will be heavy, but it just sounds like rubbish. However, these guys are up there with Meshuggah in terms of musical extremes.
Rest in peace bro. Thanks for all the great memories from backstage with Sybreed. All beers were special because you said HEEEY COME HERE AND GET A BEER. We had a great discussions about music and life..you will be missed😔❤️
i for one really like the new vocalist. frankly, him and the first singer sound fairly similar, they're both very good, and the music is still fantastic.
Great song from a great album "Sons of the system". Such a pity Mnemic stopped recording new albums after Mnemesis. Guillame -great singer fantastic at distorted and clean vocals gone too soon. [*]
i still cant believe that he is rly gone, that makes me sadder than i actually thought ... never forget him and the band with all the fantastic albums, will always listen to it hope, that a new album is coming
Considering the crticisims Mnemic seem to be in for, they're not put off by any means. Heard this song first and the older stuff later, and reckon that they both have their virtues. Power to them for not quitting
I have to give credit where it is due. Passenger came across as a bit of a confused album, but it can be seen with Sons of the System, Mnemic was able to hit the right musical stride it needed to find after Michael left, and I will say this album is absolutely fantastic and a great natural evolution for their sound.
i like how they smile and growl and just generally enjoy their twisted approach to the sound they make, you can tell they are stoked on their creation.but the short hair guy who acts all serious and bobs his head, staring at the camera... eh i guess every metal band has one,
the opening really reminded me of Meshuggah, but once they got going they blew my mind...their amazing, sounds like a mix of some different bands with a new twist on it
Guillaume, the actual Singer of Mnemic is one of my favourite..i love Scarve(r.i.p.),onestly more than Mnemic,i have listen the guys of Scarve in my first time as a schoulder band live of Meshuggah in the 2006 in Milan..In this French band Guillame represent one of two Singers and onestly he have a great debt with this Original Than Huge Band!!
@theheartofitall I went to their concert and got a shirt from the singer (or guitar player, can't remember). Killer band. Also, I notice your name is based of a Chimaira song. \m/
I was one of the few who bought every Mnemic album the day it came out. It always blew my mind how no one had heard of them back then. They were just totally unknown! Social media didn’t exist yet. We only had MySpace, and it was really inadequate…
@justKenny99 What Classifies industrial, is the mechanical sounds in the music, f.x. hammering on a steel-pipe, machine sounds, or other industrial elements, made electronical... All albums up till Liebe ist für Alle da, are labeled as industrial, also if you read about their background, you will see that they are playing industrial, and were nearly only going for the industrial, But I agree that they aren't industrial anymore, but they still call themselves industrial
The guitar playing for this one sounds very much like In This Moment's Adrenalize. Coincidence? Entirely possible since neither cites each other as influences so far. Either way, great stuff altogether. >< SPAM >
RIP Guillaume Bideau, a great vocalist gone too soon! Mnemic were always criminally underrated
RIP??? wtf!!!???
Pablo Vallini yup just recently

Wow for real..? That sux.
Miss this band big time.
@@TeeJayN21 I preferred the Michael era, but Guillaume was a great singer too, especially his cleans
RIP Guillaume. One of my favorite vocalists of all time.

Guillaume Bideau LIVE FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!
such an underrated band. never heard of them in the US until I saw a little movie called Alone in the dark.
Makes two of us. seen that movie today got courious on the soundtrack. I did notice Deathstar and Night wish was in there. this band great.

Just now finding out Guillame passed from the comments. Terrible to hear. Mnemic was always super under rated, miss these guys.
I love the many switches in soundings.

Guillaume, you're my hero.
I hope you joined the band who with abbott bros.
0:31 Mircea reminding us of his Romanian roots :D awesome track and album, and as always with Mnemic: underrated
One of the most unique clean metal vocalists, up there with burton bell
Never stop rocking up there, Guillaume. You'll never be forgotten 😢
Mnemic needs to make a comeback
They are teasing something on their Instagram stories.

Love the part with "Salvation is only a word" with the scream after it. It's kinda like a hint to Meshuggah's Dehumanization
Definitely
The fucking drums at the end of this song are absolutely GODDAMN amazing!!!💯%
Love the 3-bar phrase in the intro, and the 4/4, 3/4, 4/4 riff in the verse. Such excellent rhythmic phrasing.

Most underrated band in history!
Had no idea he passed away. Loved him in Scarve! Rest in peace dude... Way too young.
That modulation near the end is so cool!
i for one really like the new vocalist. frankly, him and the first singer sound fairly similar, they're both very good, and the music is still fantastic.
I never thought a song titled "Diesel Uterus" could be an incredible song. Boy was I wrong!!!
RIP Guillaume Bideau 😢, just found out today , I loved his music and his voice , oh man :/
this guy's clean vocals are amazing. he should really use it more.
Mnemic sounds like a cross between Fear Factory and Meshuggah, so theres two bands.
Matt MacLean yes they sound a lot like fear factory
And sybreed
A touch of devin townsend also imo

That bass player goes hard
I can't stop listening to this song while illustrating digital art
Agreed, his vocals are killer, especially that chorus.

My favorite album of theirs. I have a tattoo of the star on the album cover.
So they dropped Brad Pitt and picked up Boromir, they sound amazing either way.
I miss Brad Pitt, but not bad this way either.
It's really sad these guys ended their run. The realm of metal lost a true gem that day.
Yeah no matter who was in this band they were always underrated!
I still hope they'll reunite one day.
Sure did man, never forgotten though🤘🤘
@@corokingi To this day, ever since I heard 'Ghost' & 'Door 2.12' years ago now, they remain one of my top 3 metal bands of all time 🤘

How can you hate a song called Diesel Uterus??....Seriously people.

its even better when you listen to 4 of these playing at the same time

I never thought a song with a name Diesel Uterus would be so fucking amazing...
This is just amazing,a wonderful mix of heavy and progressive,of soft and harsh vocals. Danish metal has a future.
I don't know if anyone saw but vocalist Guillaume Bideau passed away at the age of 44...
Gotta love how Rune is pretty much the only one who hasn't changed his image =D
I LOVE THIS! It's like a combination of both their old stuff, some Meshuggah, and some new things. MNEMIC is one of the best least known bands ever!!
Oh My God what did I just listen to? IT WAS AMAZING!!! my ears are bleeding in a good way :)
Brilliant band!
If this is what Adam Jones is listening to, Im really excited for the next TOOL album.
So, was it worth it? :D After 6 years they did it
I do love how the drummer's drum set has gotten increasingly smaller since Audio Injected Soul.
Anyone see their Instagram stories over the past few months? I think they something new brewing and I think with the original line up.

I call this ABSOLUTELY GODDAMN CLEAN SOUND!!! Mnemic are Awesome. Makes my day.
This album is one of the best of 2010!! That is all!
When is Mnemic coming back
I read that Mnemic sold only a few dozens of thousands LPs in USA. Do you understand it? Passenger and this are masterpieces like bitch!

Great song
And I have to point out, Patric Ullaeus's videos are perfect. Simple, yet epic without being overblown.
i love this kind of metal....so heavy on the bass\m/
sick band, sick tune, love it. 2:04 - 2:44 really gets my head bangin.
Mnemic will NEVER EVER be better (or even be good?) than what they were when Mike still did the vocals. Period!
His cleans are so nice I actually like this album more than most of their last ones fuck me right
2021 nice song !
Im goint to spread these guys all over the world !!!!!
Just found these guys. They give me the feeling Fear Factory did a while ago when I started loving them...
You know that annoying little add that pops up the bottom of the screen? Yeah, it got burnt away by the brutal fury of these dudes. Pure win
I like that elves are getting drumming gigs these days. :)
Luv it so much!!!!!
