I love this album how they added extra melodies and more atmospheres than any of their previous stuff, still has that epic Hypocrisy touch to it.
Peter and Hypocrisy are one of those unique things that there will never be anyone/anything like them. I get chills every time i hear him scream and their music touches my mind and my soul. Pure awesomeness!

Just got back seeing them headline in California (Galaxy, Santa Ana). The BEST i've ever seen Hypocrisy yet. Such a LONG set, and they played all their best tracks.

i have to admit, even though i don't like this particular type of metal, i love the lyrics of this song. they are so melancholy and morbid... but beautiful at the same time.
Many of us do, but Hypocrisy is still an awsome band. My favourite tbh. If you want brutal satanic stuff, youtube is full of it. I really like how Hypocrisy have changed their "style" through the years. I respect that.

@LordXViper In Flames are a great band of course, but i think that all their albums are practically equal. Hypocrisy did black metal albums, death metal albums, death melodic metal albums and with a lot of lyrical themes in my opinion, its a very cultivated band. Sincerely, Pëter surprised me in every new album that he did, and thats great.

Saw Hypocrisy live a couple years ago, it was awesome, but one thing I especially liked... the echo on the vocals was pretty extreme, you could hear Tagtrens intro speech still in the first measure of each song. I thought it was fun.
Every year of Hypocrisy is their best years! I love their atmospheric metal on albums such as their Self titled, I love their melodic Death Metal as seen of ATOED, and I love their old school death as seen of Penetralia.

Yeah....Bloodbath is the band of Mikael Akerfeldt (Opeth). But in 2004 Peter was the vocalist of Bloodbath (for one album). And it was even the most sucessful. After that Mikael continued.

@dacvader2 I know. The other poster was saying that Cannibal Corpse was a "godfather" of death metal, and that if CC weren't around , Hypocrisy wouldn't exist. I merely stated that even if a band is a "godfather" of whatever genre they pioneer, that doesn't automatically mean they're good. Other people might not think CC is all that good, preferring Hour of Penance and Bloodbath over Cannibal Corpse.

Peter would never leave Hypocrisy. If he would come to the point where he can't go any further, I guess he would rather quit the band than giving the leading role to another guy who would never be able to fit in Peter's job! And, as already stated, Bloodbath is a half-time job for all participants, Peter could handle it and fuck, I would adore him, doing vocals for Bloodbath again!
