SM64 Monthly Report: March 2024

Another month, another Monthly Report.

1. COOPDX Mod Site
The SM64 Coop Deluxe team unveiled the COOPDX Mod Site in late March. The site is a space for releasing and downloading coop mods, and asking for help with complex troubleshooting issues. It replaces an older central hub for coop mods.

2. Weegeepie Developments
A fourth document of accusations against Weegeepie, a lenghty statement document defending Weegeepie, and a video by creator Resprune validating some previously presented evidence against Weegeepie were three important developments to the Weegeepie conflict to take place this month. The fourth document brings to light evidence of Weegeepie grooming yet another individual. The four documents combined add up to 143 pages. Early into April, commentary RUclipsr MoistCr1TiKaL said he intended to look into the accusations in response to a pair of donation messages on an April 1 livestream. (but nothing has been said beyond this).

3. V64CoreConsole Update
sm64rise's V64CoreConsole utility, a command line-based tool usable with Project64 for freezing the in-game camera, switching eye states, and performing other essential machinima functions, was updated this month.

Motivation was up by a clearer margin this month, with a decreased presence (though not total absence) of drama and a MAR10 machinima trend.

SM64 Trends:
This March's SM64 Trend came in the form of a return of the usual: the MAR10 Day videos made their yearly appearance.
Across the few that were uploaded in what seems to have become a less active trend, there wasn't any real theme, but the videos did share a commonality in that they were all in the blooper style.
Community Interviews:
This month's interview guest was PedroManX.
PMX answered TBSNMB's questions on machinima process and preferences, and delivered a very inspiring message at the end.
