    I have good memories of the experience grinding Chi-To. Better then Chi-Nu and a lot better then Chi-Ri. Gun is the main feature.

      chi ri has the nice autoloader though! it is big as a boat with no armor of course, but 330 clip can be very effective at tier7

      I played it like a TD, with binocs and camouflage net. That is doable. But I did not enjoy it.

    Chi-To is, unironically, pretty good vehicle. Moderate speed but with above average ground resistance made it surprisingly agile. And the 155mm pen give it a talent to play as TD.

      I enjoyed it as well, not as bad as displayed

    When Skill does that bugle sound when he is going in it always makes me smile. Perhaps the next time his commander comes round WG could add a specific key so we can make the same sound as we are about to commit to a glorious manoeuvre?

    Chi-ri has same gun on tier 7 with 3 shot autoloader, I use it as TD and works well, apart from shells velocity is usable, also it turns and accellerates quite well for being so huge.

    With the gun being the best part of this tank, I set it up and played it as a TD. It found a place and time where it was useful.
    It was my lowest win rate (till I bought AMX 30 proto). Then I found a key to the game. When I was on a losing streak (8 to 18 straight loses), I'd play this tank and usually would get a good 60% - 70% win rate for the next 5 to 8 games. Then I'd go back to my normal tanks and the losing streak with those tanks would be broken. IDK, but it worked for me.

    I remember playing the crap-ton of the Chi-To, WG released the Japanese line about the same time as the IS-6 Marathon (when you had to gather a bunch of xp using tier 6 tanks from all nations) - and I remember absolutely loving it!
    Then again, back then the vision meta was still pretty much in full swing and I would snipe the living crap out of anyone with this thing

    Nice video, it's a good strategy for this map. However very dependant of good support but usually 3 good players always win this, only difficult with lemming trains 😅 keep the good work I really like your videos .

    Isn't this tank the one with the self-loading cannon? I still keep it in the garage for nostalgia and good games years ago.

      No, the tank you talk about is the tier 7 Chi-Ri. Strong vehicle.

    I am somewhat learning about mods in wot but can somebody help me with how skill has damage log (bottom left) done by enemies. You see what ammo they used and how much dmg. Somebody that knows the name of the mod?

    • @kamilpotoczny6579
      @kamilpotoczny6579 Год назад

      This damage log is actually not a mod but a feature built in into the game. I believe you need to go into the settings and change some things for it to show that way (unfortunately I did it so long ago that I don't remember where exactly).

    chi-to SP i think needs a small nerf, it has weak spots sure but for a tier7 to easily bounce tier8 gold is just silly. plus it has pretty amazing gun with good DPM. strange that they would nerf SU100M1 then release a japanese version of it

    • @eric-wb7gj
      @eric-wb7gj Год назад +1

      Not strange at all. Players then grind the new line/spend money to get the new tank. If the stats show it's doing too well, it will get nerfed, & another will take it's place. Usually new lines power creep the older ones.

    • @StirbMensch
      @StirbMensch Год назад

      @@heyoka1994 yes, Tier 5 is an absolutely nothing tank, it's not horrible per se, maybe just horribly average.
      The Chi-To however has an excellent gun, mediocre speed and quite good camo (especially for the view ranges at that tier) - use it as a mobile, turreted TD and it works spectacularly well.
      The one I coukd not stand was the Tier 7 Chi-Ri - I just couldn't handle that it's as big as the Tiger 2 almost, with no camo to speak of and completely paper. Some people can make it work and place themselves in situations where the 3-round autoloader slaps, but I hated the damn thing

    • @heyoka1994

      @@StirbMensch 3 marked Chi nu, Chi Ri and Sta 1(yesterday). I will come back at Chi To eventually, but i hated playing with it. Probably cos of mm, where i was constantly bottom tier. With Chi Ri it was struggle at times, but those games when i was top tier i crushed them with autoloader. Though penetration on its gold is disguisting bad. Playing against tier 9 with under 200mm is unplayable.

      @@heyoka1994 yeah, forgot about the Chi-Ri abysmall gold pen... it most defintely felt a step down going from tier 6 to tier 7
      (As I said in a comment here somewhere, I played the Chi-To when WG introduced the Jap line and ran the IS-6 Marathon, you had to get something lile 60k or 100k xp with tier 6 tanks from each nation - so I played a crap ton of battles with it and doing the part in the marathon felt like a breeze)
