I’m 24 years old now and like you said I knew who he was but didn’t actually start repenting and reading the Bible until recently. I was having trouble with my car but also with my spirit. I live in Santa Barbara California. If you were to come here you would see what I’m talking about. Anyway I was reading Psalm 106. Spooky. Is this real? Elementary school they don’t tell us this stuff or even high school.
Very real brother. I'm 22 I was into stuff spiritually at 19 I started thinking more about life. Still smoking at that time thinking I could have what I wanted. I was decieved. So at 20 I begun to re think about what I was doing with my life. I was getting drunk and hurt and smoking weed. I wasn't living right but no one told me. Then I started reading the Bible after all of this stuff started happening. I remember I was at a family party and I was smoking a joint with a older family friend he was someone who acted like a uncle of mine. I smoked with him and I noticed there were kids running in the back yard. And in my mind I was thinking what am I doing with my life. What example am I setting ..... so I felt guilty for it. I didn't expect to feel guilty for smoking weed. But I did I started drinking champagne too I would get a bottle or 2 and drink them by myself at parties I was a mess. I walked home one time and I woke up in my front yard no one saw me really luckily but I woke up and I don't know how I got there. I began to read the Bible and I started re learning who God was. I thought he wasn't important until death. But he's important Now. And I had to learn That. Dont give up brian. Get close to Jesus , pray friend. Im 2 years clean off weed I relapsed a few times but I got back up I've been wanting to stop committing adultery watching porn also but I keep getting back up. I need to start having a prayer life with Jesus christ. Daily.
