I remembered watching a video of a bootleg transformers combiner where the combiner parts are just an entire robot that doesn’t transform and you just attach the cars to his limbs. The cars also transform into their individual robots of course. Unfortunately, I can’t find that video anywhere. That’s literately what your custom menasor is, but without individual robot modes.
Man, that's very slick! I like the Toyetic appearance of the thing instead of that goofy Anime model look, it's very Dreamwave and that's always cool - The screaming face sculpt is a bit of an inspired choice too. :P
I will say, this is not my cup of tea, but I can absolutely appreciate what you've done here. I couldn't do it. I've got a printer, and Fusion, but not enough skill "yet" to design anything this well. As simple as it is, people who don't know, won't know just how complex it was to design successfully, and you've managed that. Well done sir! Very nice! Now, go ahead and design me a Break Down, and split Dead End that'll fit my Legacy Motor Master, so I can quit using weaponizers, and modulators parts, as stand iins lol
Thank you very much mate. It's so satisfying having something you can physically mess with and display. For years I have made 3D models in 3DS Max but they only exist on the PC. Fusion feels like a cross between Max and Solidworks.
Can you use the Hotwheels brick rides cars for a brick rides menasor? Maybe you can use LEGO ratchets because diecast cars are too heavy for LEGO ball joints because it would make the joints too loose. However, there are no tubes on the bottom of the brick rides cars which is a missed opportunity so you have to make the cars attach to the limbs upside down.
Now that is an interesting idea. I've only messed around with one of the brick rides cars before. Also you are right about the weight issue using diecast with Lego ball joints
I have just bumped into your Channel that's awesome Bro, nice representation of Menasor G1 , if you got more 3D custom , I wanna knowe about them, greetings from Peru
Transformers that transform both individually and together to make a larger transformer were my favorite as a kid lol
It's such a cool concept isn't it. Some of my favourite moments from the toys and shows are with combiners. Thanks for watching 🙂
You are so multi skilled. I love it ❤️
Thanks a lot. 😊
