    Did you guys see what I just saw? Iglesias is so fluid & powerful. Looks like Canadian boxing will be in good hands after Beterbiev retires.
    Iglesias looks like the real deal for sure. I'm glad his move to Canada has been successful, & he's got his career back on track.
    Expect great things...

      Si es mejor que Morrell. A Morrell lo que lo ayudo mucho Luis De Cuba a obtener un titulo facil y no a peleado con nadie, solamente con Hot Rod y no se vio ni bien.

      Morrell estaba echo pa los pros porque aya perdido en amateur no significa q sea mall Elmo’s visto boxeadores q en los ameteurs pierde sin enmargo en los pro son mejores ejemplo Terrence crawford perdio contra Ugas en los amaturs y ugas perdio contra error spence y spence contra crawford Que te dice eso crawford ya es mucho mejor q ugas

    Just like that. I tend to assume it's more to the glassy chin of his opponent rather the power of Iglesias. Iglesias needs a long way to prove his real worth. For now he is far from Morrel n Berlangga calibre.

    • @randombanter7553
      @randombanter7553 Месяц назад +8

      Okay so let me get this straight he is far from Berlanga and Morrell calibre even though he did the following:
      1. He knocked out Coceres, the guy Berlanga went life and death with that also dropped Berlanga in the 9th round. Osleys made it look easy and stopped Coceres in 2 minutes flat.
      2. He literally beat Morrell in the amateurs. He literally has fought and beat him and has an unavenged victory over Morrell. Oh and for good measure lets not forget the fact that he recently dropped agbeko in the first round and then stopped him in the second round quicker than Morrell did by a few seconds. Far from his calibre... really?
      To quote the great Roger Mayweather, "Most people don't know shit about boxing." If you don't like the guy then just say you don't like him, if you think he sucks then just say he sucks but don't try to sound clever by adding in false information and making it seem like fighters he's done better than are better than him just because you like and respect them more.

      @randombanter7553 Tq. 4 yr reply. Pls be reminded that the Coceres Berlangga fought was not the same fighter yr favorite fought. Yr fighter fought the washed up version of Coceres. D u c my point ? As a veteran trainer I know what I m talking about. If there is something I don't know about boxing, it must be unworthy of knowing. Fyi I hv bn in boxing business since 1950s. Anyways Tq 4 yr elaborate reply to mine. Most of all, I envy u yr excellent school English. I LL add my comments some more when I return. Tq. Again. Now, about Roger May Weather? His statement didn't worth quoting simply because he talked so much shit about Julio Cesar Chavez Sr. who beat him so badly in their 2 encounters. He talked shit still before the 2nf fight mumbling irrelevant stuff to their fight. Rewatch how Chavez fought n stopped him in the 2nd fight. I was the assistant trainer then n I was the one who whispered to Chaves some tricks to stop Big Mouth Roger Mayweather. Ok ? I guess we r of different generations in boxing forum. I m 78 years old now, I guess u r about 40 something. Am I right ? So, forgive me to repeat this so humble a quotation : if there is something about boxing that i don't know, it must be unworthy of knowing. Tq. Again 4 yr comments to mine. Btw, I learn something from yr school English.

      @@BahrizalShadow 2 things to shut you down
      1. I simply quoted Rogers words, There's no need to go off on a tangent about your dislike and opinion of him as that is irrelevant and has nothing to do with my critique of you, so does my use of english and my age. Older boxing generation is known for being stubborn in analysis and often needs to be proven by very predictable results, age isn't always a good thing in boxing since your generation tends to be very biased and more often than not bad at judging boxers properly by proper comparison and opting to go by recency bias. I'm not accusing you of doing that but I'm just letting you know your age means absolutely nothing because I myself have been living boxing for decades. I had my own little amateur run and a short pro career that ended with no defeats before I moved on to coaching which I've been at for almost 20 years now.
      2. I never claimed Iglesias was better I simply stated the obvious which is he is an elite fighter that is not far off from Berlanga or Morrell, in fact I'm bold enough to claim that he is close to or on their level. I struggle to give you credibility for what you claim if this is your conclusion after seeing both Berlangas last fight against an arguably declining Canelo and Morrells direct comparison to a same fighter. Especially with the maturity he showed in his latest fight compared to how morrell was immature in his latest. I gave you a chance to admit that you don't like the kid but you still double down using your age as a crutch when it means absolutely nothing. A very good pointer of your bias in fact is claiming Berlanga is better than Iglesias when he's shown pretty much nothing that makes him a threat. What has he done worth note except losing to Canelo to put him above Iglesias or on Morrells level? This is the bias that come with age that I'll advise you to get rid of perhaps use the analization skills you helped Chavez with to start properly looking at all three fighters because its clear they are pretty close in skill barring berlanga.

      @ Firstly bigger =/= better fighter. Secondly Iglesias hasn't been sitting on his hands bro. All I intended to prove that its asinine to insinuate that he is far from Morrell. I've seen his fights and I don't see any reason why he couldn't hold his own against the best, he has the power to end it quickly but has the engine and know how to box for 12 too. I won't assume he'll beat Morrell in fact, I personally favour morrell to win but it wont be a walk in the park like OP seems to think and Iglesias has a pretty decent chance at upsetting him. My points were to emphasize the fact that he is not far from Morrell, in fact barring benavidez Iglesias would be his toughest opponent.
