I was there and near the front. I can’t tell you how electric that atmosphere was. Everyone thought Danni was in Australia. It was beyond amazing and the crowd brought the house down.

Kylie never gets the credit she deserves and you can clearly see danni loves being on stage with her sister there is another clip of then doing young talent time which was spot on
Maybe in the States, but everywhere else on the globe, she is VERY well recognized. ;)
Far more than Dannii does with her richer voice and doing all the lowest and highest notes.

This was one of the best shows I have ever been to in my life. No one knew what was going to be performed, we had no idea Dannii was going to actually be there. That's why the crowd goes wild.
Their parents didn't even know.
I remember when Dannii made a special appearance at Kylie's Showgirl Homecoming tour in Melbourne in 2006 and I thought the building was going to collapse. The reaction was like nothing I've experienced before or since. Their chemistry is very real and a joy to watch every time they stage to the stage together (sadly all too rare).
What a natural on stage Kylie has become. She is a true stage performer at heart. It's so satisfying to watch an 18-yr old girl completely controlled by a team of producers eventually find herself creatively and become her own person in her art form. I've seen her live several times. It always seems like Kylie is just as excited to be there as you are. She seems like she's having the time of her life every time I've seen her.. She seems so grateful to be there and so appreciative and humbled that you'd pay to come put to see her. It's truly an honor each time I see her. In Chicago, there were technical difficulties. She asked the audience what they wanted to hear while the tech crew fixed the problem. Someone yelled out "Your Disco Needs You"... She and the crowd sang the whole song acapella and everyone's jaw was on the floor when they realized Kylie could hit those high notes. It was the best moment of any time for me seeing her.. I think she was also really floored by the amazing response she got from the American audiences.
Kylie has this magical presence live that is so unique. The joy she has just soars and I'm usually beaming with happy tears in my eyes. Seeing her and Dannii together just magnifies it, you can tell they love being together.
With Kylie it’s the full package. Her shows are amazing.
I really like how their voices sound together, and the whole performance is just pure joy.
That Aussie nasal tone that they both have has always sounded “happy” and “bright”. That’s why they do pop so well. They bring happiness.
I'd love Dannii & Kylie to do a joint tour, they are so great together!
What makes Kylie a great singer is that she knows her voice. She knows what she can do and can't.
Dannii said recently in an interview that Kylie is now the better singer, because Kylie has been performing non stop as a live vocalist now for many years, has kept up the lessons and the technique, whereas she has been concentrating on TV. etc..so a fair call!
Disagree.....Kylie is too shrill and nasal.....quite unpleasant
I was at the concert that night, Dannii has just arrived back from Australia that morning before doing the show In the evening, the crowd noise went mad when she walked on stage
A very great performance from both! Kylie is so good and so underrated as a vocalist. She has a good range and a very good technique!

I love Kylie. She may not be the best singer out there but she is a great entertainer. People should really watch her in concert.
Dannii had flown over and was dead tired during this performance as well. Kylie has always had the higher range over Dannii but they can blend their voices well because they sound almost the same
I was there and we didn't know Danni was going to appear, as she was meant to be in Australia. (Neither did her parents in the crowd) hence the reaction when Kylie paused, the reception went on a lot longer but was cut for the broadcast version. It's such a feel good song, I defy anyone not to be cheered up by it! 😁
They are both crimminally underrated as singers. Yeah, they don't have powerhouse vocals that slay but they are simply very good. I just wish Dannii had not done all these TV-Shows and instead would become a kind of indi-artist that provides us with new music constantly.
Unfortunately making music costs money, lots of it, and there aren't many labels willing to invest in Dannii anymore. Shame since I was obsessed in my teenage years and she's released some fantastic pop music that is far better than what's out there today. I didn't like Kylie back then as an act of rebellion, but they're both fantastic and deserve recognition.
Considering she’s in her 50s Kylie looks and sounds great!

uuuh, thanks for reacting and uploading this clip - I was at the Royal Albert Hall that very moment and it was magical! Nobody knew if Dannii would be there and then both ladies performed this banger - what a moment!
If you watch a video of her live vocal range, you may be surprised (E3-B5-E6!) She’s got an incredibly developed head voice, sometimes quite operatic in nature. Maybe I’m biased though, because I adore her!
I was there, the atmosphere was electric. I understand Kylie’s voice is not to everyone’s taste but I’ve always loved her & I definitely think she’s improved with age. In my opinion she’s an excellent performer & knows her crowd. 💗

Kylie does have a bigger range than Dannii, but what happened with that performance is that Dannii had flown from Australia that same day to surprise everyone so she was probably very tired and had been in cold/dry/dusty environments before taking the mic.

I can tell you here and now that Kylie has the highest range out of her and Danni , Danni is a great singer, but Kylie can definitely hit the higher notes better .

I was at Kylie Christmas at the RAH in 2015 and 2016 - 2015 in particular was spectacular. They had to 'mix out' the level of the crowd noise in this performance, it was so insanely loud, I had goosebumps!
Hello honest vocal coach, I've only just discovered your channel and I absolutely love it. This particular one I was very nervous about as Kylie is my absolute hero, I should be so lucky was the first 7" single I bought as a kid and from then on I was a fan. She is a special special person that through her music never fails to make me smile even in bad times. I was there that night and my god it was electric. Her and Danni were superb. Anyways your videos have cheered me up through this awful year and I'm a firm fan. I sing as a hobby and have been singing loads these past months which has got me through darker moments so your tips have been a huge help. Thanks so much for reviewing this clip. I was also there on the night and that moment was electric. I could see by your face you were a little puzzled in Kylie’s opening verse, when there’s a pause and the audience are going crazy and Kylie laughs. It’s because Dannii was a surprise guest and not billed to be in the show; but because we all knew the song was a duet with Dannii, the anticipation of her appearing was immense! One of the best concert moments I’ve experienced.

debbie peter I mean of course there’s Botox involved and probably some cosmetic surgery but it’s gracefully done I think. Like it doesn’t look fake or plastic at all. But money helps lol
Good skin care and hair and they also keep in shape lots of women that age let themselves go and cut their hair short. Especially British women. I'm in my early 40's and I'm determined not to end up a middle-aged mess!!
Sonja Emery neither deny that they use Botox and fillers etc, but you only have to look at their face shapes through the years - there’s little to no evidence of actual invasive surgery.

This is such a HiNrg brilliant track, a kind of hidden gem like You're Disco Needs You. 2 great remixes you need to look at are the 7th Heaven one and Steve Anderson....both add a 70s real Disco slant to it! However....for pure comedy find the Nick_Remix. When you watch the opening few mins you'll be thinking....these 2 should re-make Whatever Happened To Baby Jane! Georgina, glad u enjoyed it as much as we all did!!!!

You should watch more of Kylie, she has a very powerful voice. This video doesn’t do her range justice. “Light years” or “Your disco needs you” are some great options. Thanks for your video

just amazing evening, was there... its a shame that they cut the dialogue saying that Dannii just flew in from Australia a few hours before, 23 hours on a plane would effect your voice
