I don’t have many questions because I know you do such a great job of problem solving and a history in construction…I am just enjoying all that you guys decide to do!!❤❤
Ditto!❤
I feel exactly the same!
Thanks Bill and Elizabeth I know you are praying tonight there are people all over America tonight praying,❤️ 🔥🤟⛪👨👩👧👦🇺🇸🐊
Hey it’s looking great ! You always explain things so well on surprised there were questions. Like the new counter top! Can’t wait to see the big reveal
False Flag, don't worry.
Bill, you're very patient with all the questions people ask .. you're doing a great job building everything ! Love the videos ! God bless from Wisconsin!
LOL the thoughts that you put in to everything you make are spot on and very well built. People mean well and want to help with their ideas.
Even with the same questions being asked numerous times, we do DEFINATELY appreciate it. It shows that people are ENGAGED with us and our channel!
It shows the level of respect he has for his wife. He knows her comfort is as valuable as his.
We also learn as we get older that just because a certain way “feels comfortable” today doesn’t mean it will feel the same on our body tomorrow. Maybe today our knees ache and tomorrow it’s our back…. 😑😂
I love the build it's coming along beautifully. Elizabeth, you look so happy. I think you two are so cute together. ❤😊
I have to admit, when you bought this truck and I listened to your plan for it, I was beyond skeptical. With each video my skepticism started to fade. The degree of research and planning you have done to create this little home away from home for you and Elizabeth is quite impressive as is the thoughtfulness both of you have for each other’s needs. You have done an incredible job!!!
There is a large and growing community of DIY box truck campers and bus campers (skoolies), including numerous
Facebook groups and forums. This is done all the time now-a-days. 😎
I love those windows and very clever getting a light weig h t table that fits under the floor
Pedestal tables are very hard to manipulate, we have one on our boat. I agree with your choice.
The mattress topper discussion made me laugh. My husband likes his mattress like a rock, I want it to feel like a water bed!!
You can also take the table outside if you need a cooking space. Love the homey touches with the curtains and rug
Watch out Bill she knows where you live lol, that was so sweet. The table turned out great and can probably be used out in the camping area if you needed to. These "lets address the issue" videos turned out to be informative and fun to watch so hang in there you two. 🤗
Awesome job Bill, everything is coming along so well. You & Elizabeth will have more beautiful memories together.
Funny, I had two out of three questions when I watched the last video. Coming along nicely…..Bobby
Wow! 😮 that’s great about the table guys! I have confidence in your husband. He pre-thinks just about everything before it happens. He’s a good planner.😊🎉🎉 miss Elizabeth is getting fit and trim. You not gonna have to worry about that.!😊 Cool beans! You thought of everything with that table! Looks great Bill you’ve done such an awesome job. Can’t wait to see the video with you building the cabinets. So excited for you both is looking so good.!!!😅🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
You two are so precious. You are doing great. Bill, you are a great husband's to do things that make it easy for your sweet wife. God Bless❤❤
I could always feel the gaps when I slept on our dinette. I had a quilt that I put on top then a sleeping bag, that works pretty good and doesn’t take up a lot of space, love how everything is coming together
It's all coming together and looks very good.
Thank you both for this little informative visit. I appreciate it. Your camper truck is going to take you to interesting and exciting places . Love from Central Oklahoma.
Bill, you’re so good to Elizabeth! I love to see it! ❤
We need more Bill's in This World.
My husband and I wanted to do something like that, only we bought an enclosed trailer to convert. But he passed away from bladder cancer before we could do it. I still have the trailer but am using it for storage now.
God bless and comfort you. ❤
So sorry to hear that.
I’m just enjoying all the creative aspects to the build of your camper. It’s turning out wonderfully. When I was a young girl my parents bought an old mail truck and turned it into a camper. We had fun staying at the campgrounds.
You do such a good job and I have always been fascinated to watch you build everything.
Great to see you guys again. I havn't gotten any notifications.
Make sure you are still subscribed, and click on the bell and select "all" notifications. 😊
SUGGESTION: build or find a folding footstool to support the center section of the bed to stop it from sagging. Simply place it beneath as a support. It would serve a dual purpose too. You also could create a padded footstool that supports the center section. It might be a nice addition when the dining table is folded and you want to stretch out your legs.
Thanks for sharing your lives and faith with us. We enjoy your projects and positive attitude.
Cutest couple ever, you always make me smile
Lovely work on the camper! Be true to your needs. Enjoy!
I love your design of camper
You've done a wonderful job, building it to fit your needs. Looking forward to your first trip after it's done. 🙂👍
Thanks for the video. Nice job answering the questions and it's always nice to see you and the progress of your camper.
thanks for the update, good to see you in real time, enjoying the journey with you two.
One suggestion on your dinet bed. Consider putting another 1x2 on the back wall and an aluminum “L” edge on the front of the platform. Will strengthen it up nicely.
Hi Bill & Elizabeth,I just love your design & so easy for Elizabeth to be comfortable.❤
Nice surprise getting this bonus video Saturday night! The interior looks very comfy and cozy now. The beds were engineered very well to be comfortable and practical. The little kitchen area has such a nice countertop and everything has fallen into place so nicely. Have a safe trip next week...we'll be watching out for future videos! Happy Trails!
I've been binge watching your box truck build videos because I would like to replace my current rv with a box truck build. I like the way you have thought out every aspect and explained your reasoning
Go for it!
I really like the build out of this box truck. I'm so excited for y'all and am eager to 'accompany ' you on your adventures. ❤
Everything you have thought out and everything so functional. Can’t wait to see the refrigerator set up.
You are doing a great job on building that camper using such good problem-solving skills Bill. Elizabeth was right when she called your travel trailer an RV. Here is one of many explanations I found:
“A recreational vehicle, often abbreviated as RV, is a motor vehicle or trailer that includes living quarters designed for accommodation. Types of RVs include motorhomes, campervans, coaches, caravans (also known as travel trailers and campers), fifth-wheel trailers, popup campers, and truck campers.”
Yes, our travel trailer was an RV. I didn't "correct" her because I didn't think it was an RV. I said, "you mean our travel trailer" so people would know she was talking about the trailer and not our current box truck RV.
I didn’t have questions….I’m amazed at all the thought and research y’all have put in this! You are making this your own to fit your needs. I feel you explain things very well - watching from Lake Wales, Florida
I love the table design
Thanks for giving us answers to the questions. I love your camper and you have done a great job. It’s amazing what all you had room for. Love you guys.
Thanks for addressing the questions Bill And Elizabeth! I love the storage you have for the table! great Idea! everything is looking great! You both be blessed as well! 🥰
The transformation is remarkable. Bill you are super talented and Elizabeth gives it all the women’s touch. xx
What all of this tells me is, many people love you two, which is wonderful!
Yup. 🥰
I like that table plan! Nice 🌞
Wish you could do you without having to explain every little thing. but some people live through others and feel they need to have an input.soooo glad u don't have to crawl over one another at night... KOKO keep on keeping on greetings from NC and just one more mile..
Even with the same questions being asked numerous times, we do DEFINATELY appreciate it. It shows that people are ENGAGED with us and our channel!
The box truck looks beautiful have fun in it.❤❤❤
Sweet couple! Blessed❤❤
I would love to buy your van, when you want to sell it! When that day comes.
Hello Bill & Elizabeth
Wow everything is looking awesome 👍
You two are awesome!! Love watching ❤️
Great job answering everyone’s questions! This video explained so much more about the functionality of your decisions! Especially the table. It is super functional which wasn’t seen in the last video. Love the storage spot!
Thanks for being so patient with all us inquiring folks. As a faithful watcher of you two, I certainly want the very best for you both. This video keeps the communication to and from your viewers on a ‘personal level’ by graciously addressing peoples questions. You didn’t owe anyone any explanations. But thank you! 😊
I'm trying to catch up on your amazing DIY videos. As you're traveling to Colorado, I pray for safe travels with adventures! I think we're in monsoon season in Colorado. It's been raining almost every day. I was looking forward to seeing you both on Saturday, but life has thrown some personal curve balls, so unfortunately we're not going to be there.😢 Elizabeth, enjoy your class reunion. ❤ Bill, shine next to her!😊
The meetup is on Sunday, not Saturday, if that makes a difference.
This is a well thought out plan that is very enjoyable to watch you implementing each step. Thank you for taking us along! It’s fun to dream about doing this and unfortunately it has to stay a dream for me because after living in our camper 4 years while finishing out our house, hubby is done with such things. I would still love to camp but I guess I wore him out 😜😜
Watching as you put it all together and know you are a problem solver who is able to figure out solutions to any problems you have. Been comparing the build to our older class C 24' motorhome "Walter". Can't remember how long your converted box truck was.
It's classified as a 14-foot box truck. The box is 10.5 feet long, with a 3.5 foot extension over the cab. The overall length is 24 feet.
I believe as you use your space ideas will come to make it your own. Doing an amazing job
Yup. It’s a work in progress, and it will develop as we go.
My 2 friends with those dimples, AWESOME
to brace the bed just add one or two aluminum angle iron, driver to passenger side.....the area behind the back rest of dinnette can be hinged to hide your pillow and blankets....
I have a feather topper, it rolls up to fit in pillow case. Could store in other bed
Thanks for the idea. But... Elizabeth is allergic to feathers!
It will all work out as you need. Questions are asked with love as it your kind replies.
Even with the same questions being asked numerous times, we do DEFINATELY appreciate it. It shows that people are ENGAGED with us and our channel!
I love you both and appreciate your patience with us all. Sometimes I really wonder are people asking questions because they really want to know or is it just something to say. God bless you Continued blessings.
Even with the same questions being asked numerous times, we do DEFINATELY appreciate it. It shows that people are ENGAGED with us and our channel!
Just wanted to say, I love watching you both. Bill, you are my husbands twin. He also, can build, fix, etc anything, even if he’s never done it before. I often tell him he has “psychic fingers”. Like you, he is also very patient, kind & caring.
Loving the transformation of the truck!
Thanks for the update!
Its amazing how Bill transformed the uhaul..looking good!
I made the same observation with the table just as many others did apparently. Thanks for showing it . I thought it was a fixed heavy table…
I love the table idea because as you have said before in previous videos it was versatile and you could always use it outside if need be so it's the perfect set up, and you don't live in it you're just going to take trips in it
Some people want to think they're smarter than everyone else lol. They need to stop and think that maybe, just maybe this has all been thought through.
Bill and Elizabeth have said many times they don't mind the questions so you shouldn't mind either!
@@spoly8139 Why does my comment bother you so much? Take your own advice.
@@dianerivera3222 Your comment doesn't bother me at all. I just assumed you are a new subscriber and were not aware that Bill and Elizabeth have said many times over the years they enjoy answering the questions people here ask. No need to be hostile..this is a friendly group of supporters of this channel over many, many years now. Take a deep breath and chill out!
Even with the same questions being asked numerous times, we do DEFINATELY appreciate it. It shows that people care, and they are ENGAGED with us and our channel!
I love you two.
Well, me I think yall are doing a great job on your camper keep it up
Thank you. 😊
Nice! Things always seem to have a different perspective on videos, as opposed to in person, I find. Great layout! Alot fits in this box truck.
I think what you have is fine! Blessings...
It's perfectly done. ❤
Very clever table and storage. So I'm thinking you are showing us all what can be done when we refuse to go into debt. < Cheers
Love all your smart soloutions! I'm never going to build a camper van, but I really enjoy watching all your work!
I have a very similar table, except that it's quite a bit heavier, with a padded top. I have used it as a work table instead of using our dining room table. It's smaller than the dining table, but I don't get in trouble! I'm getting ideas too, but it will be quite a while before I build my own camper, if ever. Thank you for your great videos, and for the happiness you bring. As always, all the best to you both.
It's great and it's not like you will be sleeping on bed everyday. It's a camper....
I always trust you to know what you are doing and to have anticipated all situations, you are amazing. I did enjoy seeing this real time video and look forward to see the ones yet to be revealed. Have a blessed Sunday.
Lol! Who would have ever guessed that you two were sooooo smart? Lol! I enjoy your expertise, and your videos!
Thanks so much!
Bill and Beth you have done beautifully and I am so happy for you. The only thing I would add would be a longer tension rod from side to side with a curtain that would keep Beth from having lights in her face if Bill is up and at his computer desk. Just a thought but having traveled and lived in a motor home for 3 years with my husband and toddler that would be a great addition.
My head will be sheltered behind the big cabinet. Also, I actually can sleep very well if there’s some light.
When Bill starts working at his desk at 4 AM, it won’t bother me at all. 😄❤️
I know in my state and many others, it's illegal to have a passenger in the back of a bix truck while in operation, but in Florida and Virginia may be diffrent
The problem with riding in a box truck is that there is no way OUT! This is no longer a box truck. It now has a side door and an access door to the cab. It is reclassified as an RV.
I thnk your renovations are great. ❤ nicola australia
I'm surprised you didn't expect the question about the table because on the first video you didn't show the table moving at all, or even how you put it in there to begin with. But, I'm glad you answered the question because I wondered how you got in and out even though I didn't actually ask the question. Thanks for the expanation.
I really like your table frame it’s light weight and so easily folded and moveable with the table top attached, my pet hate is the fixed dinettes where you need to wriggle sideways until you can stand up to exit it, getting older and arthritic this manoeuvre is an act I don’t particularly enjoy your solution is wonderful.
You could put just a small handle at the end of that table to drag the take it with ease, as well as maybe adding slider your things on the folded part of the table legs.
Brilliant!❤
Great job Bill , but Elizabeth you will need a few comfy cushions for behind your back , God Bless A,G, west of Ireland
I got one! 😊
Great job!
Thanks!
Coming along nicely.
You made everything to suit your needs. I personally would have preferred something like a futon/sofa across the back wall for sitting and sleeping and use tray tables for eating/working. I like how the table stores away.
We did explore that option.
Love it, another great job well done!
I love it ❤
Bednet cargo control solutions has a nice product line. We have some of their products and they are great.
Thank you. I'll check it out.
Good job
❤great video helping us to understand and have concerns addressed--thank you!❤
Love it. 🥰
Thinking more of a cotton quilted topper to protect the cushions from sweat etc and help extend their life, rather than a foam one for comfort. Just a suggestion, you must do what you feel works best for you both. Happy travels!
We will be using sleeping bags on the bed. We will either be in or, or on top of it, depending on the temperature.
Hopefully the 1/2 inch will give you cracking warning. Overall, excellent job Bill, takes a lot of courage to endeavor in such project.
Good video. 😊
love u guys
Great job guys
The cushions will break in too and become more comfortable. Don't forget you cab 5ake your chairs outside roo.
