I could sit and listen to Coin Guy chat for hours.... he's MY generation. God bless you, Coin Guy! You've always got something interesting to say. Take care, be safe and God bless!
Great Comment.....!!!
As someone who is 29 years old I could also listen to Guy for hours. His knowledge and story telling skill transcends generations!
Such a wonderful man , Guy sees the world exactly how it is 😄
You know as long as there are people around like Coin Guy, this country still has a shot.
A true treasure
We need more coin dealers like Coin Guy!
Amen to that.😊
Fight the CBDC waves and use cash, yes it’s fiat, but we should fight the Digital currency system.
I make exact change at the drive thru. The cashiers can't believe it .
Soon as guy starts kicking off about food prices i have a big smile on my face... The old boy makes me laugh.....
Coins of the Ceasars are very desirable. The 'Tribute Penny' of Tiberius (Denarius) is a classic collectable coin. Always a pleasure to listen to the Great Man.
the Mickey Mouse statue was designed by Disney artist Marc Delle and sculpted in 2001 by the Great Western Mint in Orem, Utah as a commemorative item celebrating Walt Disney’s 100th birthday. The statue is 24-inches high, 15-inches wide and 9-inches deep weighs over 100 lbs. and is valued at $4 million.
Thanks for the Mickie Mouse info on the statue... Unique
I always appreciate Coin Guy videos. I've been watching these videos for years and your conversations with him are as interesting as they were at the beginning. Thanks Speg and Coin Guy!
Thanks for the .99999 video guys. Enjoyed 👍👍👍
Incidentally, the OCC, where the FUN show is held, doesn't take cash for parking. I won't go there anymore.
Really enjoy listening to Coin Guy! In my plans to go visit his store
I still have cash in my pocket but I did trade a lot of it today for some peace dollars some three cent dimes a 2 cent copper coin and a little bit of gold
Mr. Rich!
You mean three cent nickels?
I believe the “necklace” is actually a Charivari. It is a decorative accessory to lederhosen in Bavaria. Worn by men. Each end is fastened to a belt loop in the front.
Joe and Kamala keep telling me that I'm happier than I've ever been.... ummmm.... No. That's not true.
Thanks for the show guys. I always enjoy.
Thank you for making this a public video. I was going through withdrawal not seeing Guy.
6:18 Had me laughing!
..AND JUSTICE FOR ALL!!!
As far as not accepting currency I thinks the technicality is that it IS legal tender for all DEBTS public and private. A chosen purchase is different, especially if it's a private business. For example if u went to a bank to make a loan payment, they HAVE TO accept your cash by law but I don't have to accept anything if u want to purchase something from me.
Coin Guy, we love you and your educational videos.
Whatnot is a good medium to sell on if done properly, would love to support more shops around the country who I enjoy listening to.
thank you for letting watch this love the video and the one you had with Johnny thanks again
Gold being this high right now compared to all other commodoties, including silver, is a red flag. People have 'priced in' rate cuts that have not happened. Its going to correct towards its actual value of around 1850-1900 before anything else happens. Also, with gold this high, wondering who is buying when premiums are still 100$ over spot?
Happy New Year Coin Guy! 👍🏽
Thanks Guys for another fine video,
Salt and sugar once came in a hard cone shape, so you could use pinchers.. This why we say give me a pinch of salt or sugar in our recipes.
I live listening to you and coin guy talk. He’s my generation and speaks my language. If the coins on that necklace are from all over Europe, it may be a custom souvenir from a “grand tour”.
I live not too far from this awesome gentleman's shop. I have an extensive collection of ancient coins and they have been my focus since 2002. Would love to stop by and show them and discuss ancients. I can give good evaluations on market value...whether they are authentic or not... and attribution. Love these videos! I commented as it appears like The Coin Guy likes ancients. I am new to modern coinage so would love to learn more about them from him!
Yay the Real Coin Guy and Spectacular has a new video ?
Yes please and thank you.
was just there at the shop today and decided to come to youtube and subscrbe.... very knowledgeable about da coins
The Kentucky Fried Chicken by me is going cashless. Don't think I'm going to go there anymore.
Awesomeness gentlemen 😊 ❤
When I buy from Great Collections, I never bid the full amount I might be willing to pay somewhere else...always take into account their buyer fee...make no mistake, in the end, it is the seller that pays that fee.
That sign behind coin guy SMILE YOUR ON CAMERA LITERALLY😅
I remember returning empties to the store for 1 cent. This was when sodas was a 5 cents.
I went to fun show. Had fun went to your store. Bought a bracelet with coins from your daughter.
Always wonderful to see Coin Guy!
LOL - @ 19:00 - I didn't get sick/nobody got sick - "then deeply coughs" --- Sometimes I feel like Freudian slips bleed out to an even further degree than the classic definition - ya know?
We called it Deadbox or Bottlecaps. Would play all day, loaded some up with melted candle wax to make them varoous degrees of heaviness. Actually plan to teach the kids in the neighborhood to play this summer.
Cheers to Coin Guy and Speg !!! Hi Mrs. Speg !
If there is a mild recession, commodities will continue to go down.
I got the labs watching Coinguy and Speg daily. Missed the last WN stream Speg. Hope to make the next one.
Next time!
4:17 I remember I had to learn the definition of “legal tender” at one point in terms of monetary policy. A legal tender note is not technically “money” originally, but a promissory note to pay someone in whatever that currency is based upon (ie. bimetallism of gold and silver prior to 1933). Anyway, legal tender just means that a lender must accept those notes as payment for a debt already incurred as if it were actual money. BUT when you buy something from a vendor, they can choose what form of payment they will accept. So if you want to buy something, your desire doesn’t create a debt that you redeem by paying the vendor in legal tender. Does that make sense? I know that it seems like semantics, but that is what our USD now is (post 1971). Those stories where upset people pay for parking tickets with buckets of pennies… they are paying that debt in legal tender. But a ballpark hot dog stand doesn’t have to accept that form of payment.
It's better than show and tell. The history lessons are priceless! 5 🌟 👌
Use the sterling to in quart gold during refining process.
Have a good New Year Coin Guy
Are you sure those are salt cutters, those look like ice tongs to me with that lock at the back. From the 1700 uptill the 1890s lots of estates in europe had ice houses were they would store ice from frozen lakes to use in the summer months, tongs were used to move and handle ice.
Great Collections is great !!! I have a couple auctions up now ! Great service for both buyers and sellers !
I am glad to see coin guy back.
He never left 🤷♂️
@@Spegtacular good!
Thanks fellas!
Kings Island went cashless a couple of years ago, Wrigley Field did too.
Replying to my own post, my wife thinks it’s because people can’t count change anymore!
From what I've been told it's all sports stadiums and concert venues went cashless in the last few years because of the beer flu. We all know the real reason and it's because they want to lead us toward CBDC's by normalizing a cashless society.
It won't happen but if everyone boycotts these people. That would change. This is all about control.....
Sorry I missed the show , watching now
It’s never too late to catch the show!
I agree I think 2300 aswell, Heck I spent 12 bucks on a big mac combo the other day for me I think a steak dinner should be like 20 bucks for the top of line steakhouse
Happy New Year guy! 🎉 60 is cold for Hawaii🥶😁
I always carry at least $500 in cash for emergencies. Its nice to have for just in case situations.
Scaly that brings back memories.
They need silver to build the weather machines
That tool also looks like what my grandfather used to insert into a cows nose allowing you to lead them around.
That 25,000 Dinar note is worth about $19 US. That will get you a couple dozen bagels.
Guy. I really hate to correct you and I never thought I would have the opportunity but they do make synthetic and emeralds any stone they make synthetics of.
You r right coin guy,it is illegal to not except cash. It's written on the fiat currency legal tender for all Depts public & private....
I do agree, I am hearing that we’re going to have two or three interest rate cuts, and there’s also whispers of another wave of QE, this will push Precious Metals higher, so I’m stacking more now before these events occur
.....48° 😂 cold shit it was like -30 with wind chill in MI
I was thinking the same, I’d take 48 degrees in January!
Thanks for the video
They do have synthetic Ruby's , Sapphire, opal, etc.
Happy Chinese New Years to you guys. May this Year of the Dragon (Feb. 10th), bring good fortune and prosperity to both you and your Families.
We just called it bottlecaps. We would melt crayons into them for weight. Its a game we all played in the city.
Was just enjoying another Member's Only Release last night haha hello again Guy
It’s a nice little benefit eh?
Love the coin GUY 😊
Even $5 foot longs are up to $8.50 so why would gold act any different or milk butter & eggs!
Footloose in Waterloo Illinois are $13.99 😅 Crazie inflation!!! Unique
Footlongs
No problem biden has inflation under control. $1.50 gas is now on fire sale at $3.25@@jenniferzuaro7647

Companies can accept digital only if they wish. I argued this with a hospital 2 years ago!
and they do have lab made Rubies, and Emeralds btw they've been making the lab made rubies for a long time as watches use them for their movements (when you buy a 17 jewel movement it has 17 man made rubies more than likely in it)
Coin Guy for president 🎉
Nice job brother Speg!
Cash is Legal Tender for all DEBTS public and private only .
Buying something at a business is not considered DEBT. They can reject your cash .
Holy crap people really are generous 25 thousand!
Coin Guy: welcome to 2024. If you have the time can you tell us what you think of CACG graded coins by John Albanese? thanks. I am thinking of buying products in his new holders.
Man, this video was waaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyy to short :)
Wanna correct coin guy on one thing, there are synthetic rubies and emeralds but they made in a different process than diamonds. Been a gem and mineral guy since i was 14 years old 😅 there are synthetics for just about every popular gemstone.
Do synthetic rubies react to uv light the same as Earth-made?
I think it will drop 50% after they find a giant vein in Africa
Wrigley Field is now cashless. Can’t buy a beer and a hotdog without breaking out plastic.
That's a shame. Boycott seems in order T.....
Stay clear of the markets in the near future the gov is coming for your money
Cash as legal tender means that it must be accepted as payment for debts. So if you already received a good or service and the seller demands payment then they must accept cash. If cash was offered then a court would strike down any suit attempting to collect another form of payment unless it was delineated in a signed contract. But any business can deny to provide you a good or service up front for cash if they wish. Some small businesses prefer to not deal in cash as it entails more time and room for error in cash handling and then dealing with employees stealing and more work with the accounting, the potential of running out of cash when you need it, the back and forth bank runs...so it's understandable why some businesses don't want to deal with cash...I think the artificial coin shortage that has been running since COVID has influenced businesses to reduce their dealings with cash also
Get that man a Covid test lol jk
Does coin guy take consignments to sell in shop and what does he charge?
You’d have to ask him that via phone
I've got a few million of the Iraqi dinar😅
that 25,000 Iraqi Dinar is equal to $19.08 American
That’s called the mark of the beast
So sad I had to skip the FUN show this year…I am just to tempted to buy too much and it is too tight right now. Maybe Ill make the summer show.
How do I order silver Eagles from Ontario Canada🍁
Donuts used to be 10 cents , how much is it now?
400 calories
You cant call them colored stones anymore..its stones of color
I would prefer gold drop down about 1k and silver to go up 50$.
@@WhiteAngloSaxon I just wish I was an adult in the 90s when gold was 300$ an oz and silver was less than 5$. I can't believe my parents didn't buy any.
coin guy for governor get desanctimonious out of office!
Royce chocolate at mutsuwa doesn't except cash.
Does Guy sell on eBay??
No all of his info is below in the description
👍👍
Wallets in the speg store soon?
One of a kind sir
Everyone’s on the lookout now for the wallet at self checkout!
I hate self checkout… I always try to go to a human
The cent will be an oak leaf.
Hyperinflation will see to that!
