Love listening to the Coin Guy. He is one in a million. We all need to be as honest and appreciative of history as he is. He is trying to bring the current generation to an understanding of coin history and an overall understanding of how coins and money operate. Good for him.
Very true, Johnnie!
Coin Guy is always an exception. Never miss a chance to watch him.
Coin Guy you are a National Treasure! Thanks Speg for sharing him with all of us!
In my best Chick Fil A voice - My pleasure.
We love the Coin Guy! Always the highlight of the day to watch him share his thoughts.
So true!
100% love this man 👍
I typically would never sit through anyone's 60 minute video, but Coin Guy is always an exception. The friendliest, most personable guy with a "lead-thrower" on his hip.
"Guy" is the book of knowledge ! We love ya !!
Always a pleasure to see the coin guy! ☺️
Not just a sales pitch from Coin Guy, Great information and history. THANK YOU !!!!
I love these interviews! Guy is a real one for sure and i have had the pleasure of meeting him in person. Great guy and great shop!
Always, always enjoy the Coin Guy! Thank you. God bless
The trip to Dahlonega, GA got Guy's "spirits" up.
Always a pleasure to hear from the knowledgeable Coin guy, thanks for taking us along on this visit again
Thanks for joining us, Wi Dave!
I've been to the Dahlonega Gold Museum and I've bought Dahlonega gold from the coin shop there. Beautiful little town. Glad you had fun Guy!
Just woke up n a new coin guy episode to start the day id say perfect timing. ❤🇬🇧
Great to watch the blue shirt of knowledge 👍😀
Thanks for watching, Silver Delta!
The Dahlonega mint sounds nice. I always wanted to visit the Carson City mint. Maybe one day I'll get to see it.
I always enjoy the conversations with Coin Guy. Thanks for everything, SpegTacular!
@Goldcic Neat! That's another reason to visit the Carson City mint museum. Thanks!
I don't know much but I wanted a large 5oz silver quarter and I found three at The House of Coins in Tarpon Springs Florida. They are in a plastic case and I'm using them as coasters. I'll get a few more.
I look forward to these videos. Love Coin Guy lessons. Thanks Speg!
I love this guy, and all he is telling.......... so much he knows!
Thanks. I enjoy learning from Coin Guy.
Its always nice to see the Future Coin Hall Of Famer!!
Hello Brothers!!! Thanks for the coin guy speg fun. Love the videos.
Thanks for watching, Snow Lion!
It's going to be a Golden Day! I picked up a few Norwegian coins a few months ago from Guy. Always educational and and enlightening to spend time with.
Always great to see a new Coin Guy video. Greetings from Australia.
Always a pleasure to see and learn from the Coin Guy.
I love the coin guy favorite part I'd my day Thank you!
Anybody notice how much Coin Guy looks and talks like Archie Bunker? Uncanny resemblance. Im a huge fan of both Archie and Coin Guy. Thanks for your time Speg and Guy, you guys are great.
I went in to my LCS this week. Zero bullion. They had high priced junk and collectible stuff.
Love your videos, you’re teaching so much about everything and I really appreciate it
Love hearing this man, you ask him a question and I really like how he explains and tells very interesting stories don't know how many videos I have watched hearing his stories seems like Avery nice man to talk to , keep it up
I'm good with a new grading company. I would like to see CAC at my next coin show.
Totally wonderful video Speg.
Thanks for watching, Philip!
Excellent video with coin guy I always enjoy these shows.
Thanks for watching, Jeff!
Great video! Coin Guy's shop is now my local coin shop also.
Great video spectacular. Always learning something new when I watch you and Coin Guy. I Just love those Gold Certificates and those National bank notes. Along with that toned Morgan silver dollar.
Glad you enjoyed the video, Tyler!
Thank you both for another fun video.
Great time in the time vault of coins. Thanks gentlemen.
Thanks for watching, Edward!
That’s a good looking 1962 D Franklin half! I may have to call coin Guy about that one!
Coin Guy is an absolute legend and knows more than almost anyone else I've ever seen or heard from, incredible knowledge!!!
Really good show. Well explained. As always it's been a pleasure.
Thank you for watching, Sidney!
I love your channel, I would want to have coin guy in my state. I would love for you to do a road trip and visit the best coin shop in each state. I am sure the viewers would recommend a LCS in their state. For me a great coin shop is in Midland TX run by a man that goes by Preacher Bill.
We would love to do that, David! Maybe one day we can make that happen!
Man, if I can find gold under a rock, I should "kick rocks" more often ha ha. 🤣
Maybe that’s how the phrase started!
@@Spegtacular 🤣 I don't know Man, but I just might not be as offended the next time somebody tells me to kick rocks.
I've been to Helen. Beautiful. Didn't stay long. Bikers were everywhere. Didn't know anything about the gold. If I did I might have looked under a few rocks
Great video with Guy as always, Speg.
always a pleasure listening to your enlightening banter, gentlemen!Cheers!
Been to Helen and will never make that mistake. I've been through there before, but had no idea Dahlonega was a mint. It's only 30mins north from my outlaws. One of these days, I'll have to run up there to check it out!
Speg!!! You should see if the school will let you go with coin guy granted I’m sure they’ll have to send out permission slips to all the parents but that would be an interesting episode
I agree!
@@mrsspegtacular6484 If they deny him, just tell him to go back wearing a dress. I hear the schools are in to that stuff these days.
6:17 Here's the weird thing. Eagles are the same price (US$32, adjusted for currencies) in Florida as Australia. One would think there would be a price premium for shipping. Either they're too cheap here, or too expensive in the USA.
My dad left me a set of War Nickels in an old scratched up holder. I wonder if my great grandkids will end up getting a bunch of money out of it.
“The Usual Suspects” one of a coin Guys best lines IMO
The 1976 Canadian Olympic $100 coin is 91.67% gold and 8.33% silver. (half ounce gold). The silver makes the gold brighter! Blessings Coin Guy!!!!
Thank you guys that was an awesome report and thanks for sharing your knowledge and expertise very interesting!
Love the Coin Guy! Never miss a chance to watch him. Just a thought about Nancy Pelosi running a water purification plant in California. She could probably get her husband a job there too when he's not getting "hammered". 🤣🤣🤣
Ohhhhhhhhh too soon ;)
Lol good one 😂🤣
Dude, what the fuck is wrong with you?? This elderly man got brutally attacked in his home, and you think it’s funny. Man, you right-wingers are so fucking immoral, and destroying traditional American values.
80 proof vodka is what she would make.
You want cable and you have to pay 275 dollars ! lol love coin guy he's the real deal
It takes 2 neutron stars to collide together to create gold and heavier elements. Silver can be created by a super nova and lighter elements. That's the reason why you have less gold on earth than silver. Now keep in mind it takes a super nova to create a neutron star which is left behind from a massive star that went super nova and created elements up to silver which is more common than 2 neutron stars colliding together to create gold and heavier elements which are rarer than silver and lighter elements.
My favorite time of the week!
Thanks for watching, Brian!
Coin Guy is superlative. Go for the one ounce 2023 Queen's effigy silver Britannia's & the Perth Mint 2022 Silver Bunnies....Ummm, I'm not a financial adviser but I'm loading up🙂
We came from supernovas too. All matter , by the way. Star dust, super cool.
That stream is the start of the Chattahoochee River that ends at Apalachicola Bay.
Good to see coin guy again 👴pyrite aka fools gold I have a few of those small Rocks nice and shinny to have..wow the queens coins going up in price also there's this new 2022 silver queen Elizabeth silver coin that I saw but there going for 99 bucks for it on Modern coin mart..
I Wonder if the" Re-Utilized Water" is Sudsy ! God Bless You Both !
Love the channel, very informative. Guy should get a real holster for his revolver though 🤠
Guy only buys what walks through the front door and he purchased that holster from Doc Holiday himself!
;)
WE LUV YOU MR COIN GUY🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Love Coin Guy !
The trick with the queens image is to have a set of all of them. Pretty sure no one has a complete set of bullion coins with Queen on it. Maybe a museum would come close?
Who would even want a set of them. I'd melt them down. Pretty sure she's in hell right now anyways.
I live in Jackson Georgia it would have been a pleasure to meet you good sir
Coin guy was in my backyard and I didn’t know it!😞
A member of Guy's coin group was killed some years back, I found the story online. Can you ask him to share some of the details of that case and tips of how to stay safe when involved with the coin business?
benji halves were my main go to for a long time. the 64s have to be checked. easy for you younger guys with good eyes. but not for me 😅. we‘ll probably never see 90% come back down much. at $20x it’s $28/ ounce. i wish it would but no one is letting go of it
You’re right I think the premiums on 90% is here to stay
I just realized Coin Guy and I are both 1955 babies!
So _that's_ how "Dahlonega" is pronounced. I knew about the old mint, but had always assumed the stress was on the penultimate syllable ("dahl-uh-NAY-guh"), like Talladega, as in the speedway.
Great video!
Thanks for watching, Silver Scorpion!
Water mining is called a monitor. Its a high volume Hose. It is about 50 percent efficient in gold recovery. Think about all the gold left behind in tailing piles.
Great video
When exactly did Archie Bunker move to Florida 😊 Love this guy!
Gold panning to be profitable must yield One ounce per hundred. That gravel pay dirt is in Alaska where 100 years ago the state used real gold tailings to pave streets of gold on its only in Alaska where the streets are pave with a gold rich foundation from old miners tailings.
What’s your thought on the previous treasurer signature he didn’t sign it in cursive he printed it and it’s the first and only treasurer to print his name on the dollar bills would that be a collectors item one day?
Wyatt Earp most likely never held a Mint State Dollar. His Dollars were more likely to be like mine, with wear and tear from riding in stage coaches in bags and being thrown around on a Poker Table. Reference Comprehensive Catalog and Encyclopedia of U.S. Morgan and Peace Silver Dollars 1998 Preservation and Storage Section.
I still live in Wichita Kansas, and I own a Single Action Peacemaker and we still refrain from shooting each other but talk real tough like, ya'know.
I am starting up a shop selling nothing but chocolate coins, I wonder if they increase in value with age ?
Silver bullion is running low at the LCS’s is that I shop at as well.
Awesomeness gentlemen 😊❤😊
We should be getting college credits for watching Coin Guy.
I hate to be stupid. But every now and then I prove to be pretty good at it. I saw a comment somewhere the other day that made me wonder how I could tell if my silver dollars (Morgans) were real. So I looked up what they should weigh and weighed my eleven Morgan dollars. Seven of the eleven were seriously - over 100 grains - below weight. They looked a bit worn, but not bad, not smooth or with hair indistinct or liberty illegible. Then I checked the four that were close to weight against the seven. The seven were all noticeably thinner and the color was darker - not a lot, but compared to the four, definitely darker. And I have had all these for years; probably since the nineties. Aggravating.
Supernova, you need orogenic process to concentrate the gold in fissures.
The revolver in a nylon holster (unstrapped, ofc) just makes me uncomfortable lmao - I carry daily too, but a bold young buck (or opportunistic criminal) could quite literally just snatch that thing and immediately pull it directly on you.
The firearm probably hasn't been discharged in years, if at *ALL*, and in the event he'd ever have to use it, he's probably untrained and unprepared, lacking situational awareness. Hammer is dropped down, so the trigger pull will be VERY heavy if it's a double-action revolver. Vernacular and the way he carries himself, tells everyone that he's probably not a vet
Guy is the New Archie Bunker of Coins , I have Error coins , would love you show some on you,r show And how to TRUST sending coins for Grading ? THANKS
Silver is formed at the end life of a super spining neutron star explodes and the heavy atoms collide and diffuse into space. Gold requires two spinning neutron stars circulating each other in a corkscrew fashion . When they finally collide the higher speed produces gold and disperses. I forgot how the PGMs come into existence but arrive in iron-nickel meteorites. Pyrite is heavy in iron & sulfer. I have a perfect 2 x 2 inch natural cube of pyrite. ,$75 I think.
I’ve panned for gold in Dahlonega! I actually found about $300 worth.😊👍🏽
That sounds like a fun time, Nate!
How long did it take you to find that amount worth?
Thanks.
@@billmason533 a little less than 2 days on a weekend.
hola amigos fantástica entrevista 👌
Sign me up! I'd join this geeky group of nerds of this caliber in a Florida second and a New York minute. Whatever comes first.
great video thumbs up
Thanks for watching, Silita!
$32 is not bad for ASE's - My LCS is currently at $16 over spot for the 2022 coins.
He sells generic stuff at +3 or +4 over, depending on the item. (and he has about 1000oz in stock of various stuff right now)
The 1902 reset, mudflood may be why that coin holds high value.
excellent
It’s funny how metals always outlast the currencies.
I like that 1922 no d. I wanted a au but its expensive .🎃
My LCD charges more for BU Constitutional than circulated rolls. They used to be $50 a roll 5 years ago. I resold a tube at $105 back to the same dealer. Still have most junk dimes. That's all I bother with. Dimes & 100 oz bars for melting & jewelry making. Have to saw them into 3 kilos to melt. Only $1 over spot per oz.
I'm mainly a gemologist and pre-1800 US numi collector & territorial & Spanish Galleon shipwreck collector. These are real specialties. Now I'm stacking like everyone. Numis that are rare typically double every 10 years. Rare as in minimum 10k retail. If you auction you will lose 1/3 & maybe taxed. So be prepared for a long hold. For Morgs, I was warned. Real (by my eye) plus PCGS or NCG nothing lower than MS-65. 66 up better. (Very rare dates excepted). Not so with 1794 or 75 flowing hair dollar.
They clean old paintings. So what's wrong with cleaning coins. To remove dirt and oil ?
When coin guy talks I listen
We can turn lead into gold now, but it would take something like a trillion dollars of energy to make one ounce. Can't remember where they tested doing it but Im betting a particle accelerator was involved.
Great Vid, thanks.
Thanks for watching, Joel!
@@mrsspegtacular6484 thanks , i love tuneing in to you guys and talking coins and stuff,
