As a newer Assimil8or user, I've been trying to get my head around whether I wanted to pick up a Locutus, and it was kinda hard to tell from the midi sheet and forums and whatnot, but after watching this and your previous video, makes it a lit easier to understand, and I think the answer is heck yeah I should get it!
Can you do multi and poly at the same time? Oxi One has 4 sequencers in it and can to poly one one, chord on another, multi on another and whatever on a 4th.
@@alx-106 or alternatively you can have different samples with their zones on every octave , like one octave for Kick , another for Snare etc (I suppose)
@@solarion33 the issue with that one just that it’s not an octave on the keyboard, it’s 8 semitones, so the next sample starts in a weird spot and it’s not consistent. That was the hard part for me.

Can I use Assimil8or gate and cv inputs to send midi out messages using Locates?
the chroma 8 is for sampling octaves then they get re-pitched only in the small range of each octave instead of across the whole keyboard range.
