Thank goodness someone has finally done a proper review of this fragrance. It took me time to warm up to the original Libre b/c I don't like lavender but I do enjoy it now. I think this new one will be more my vibe and I can't wait to get it.

Absolutely love this. Love the orchid in it also. Found the Libre original version dry down was a bit airfreshner like. The intense is a very luxury high end feel and super sexy. It totally envelopes you. Bought the 90ml arriving today. Can't wait. Will be my signature Perfume now. My previous was Dior Poison Girl EDP loved the bitter orange in that. Very winter. Bought Tom Ford Private Blend Mandarino Di Amalfi and Olympea Original Edp for this summer.
I agree with you. The intense version is warmer, long lasting, more feminine and I even get a licorish scent.. Love it!
I personally prefer the original the intense was way too sweet for me. I love the original LIBRE it’s feminine and powerful I definitely recommend it!!

I love the bottle, but I do not like lavender at all so I don't like the original. The intense version sounds much better. I will definitely check it out!
I smelt this today in Debenhams and because they said they couldn't spray it on my wrist cause of Covid( for goodness sake! They weren't touching my hands!) So I went to the perfume shop and the lady sprayed it on my wrist. This perfume is on another level! I loved it! I hated the original but the intense is an A+++ for me. Definitely buying this.
Did not spray on your wrist cause of covid?! Like what would a spray do? She did not have to touch your hand to spray the perfume on it! I would love to try this one , liked the original but i did not looove it. Hope this one is much better 😇

Libre has been my favorite scent ever since I tried it ( I am crazy for lavender) and I cannot wait to try the intense version after your review!

I am actually surprised you’re calling it a lavender scent. Ik, lavender is one of the official notes, but I don’t get any lavender at all. It’s a soft musc. On my skin it’s a no-go, muscs turn to cat piss on me unfortunately, but on my 24-yr old daughter, it’s beautiful, but again, no lavender. To me an example of a lavender scent is Mon Guerlain or Mon Exclusiv. I own and love both of those. But Libre? Idt so. I guess it’s all about personal chemistry...

1000% agree with you, I get no lavender at all. They’ve just come out with an eau de toilette which has a slight difference in the smell. I would recommend trying that one on you to see if it smells any better! :)
I get tons of compliments on the edt version of this everywhere I go. I will definitely skip the edp and go for the intense. Thank you! I use you often as a guide for fragrances.

Hi Soki, in my opinion the original Libre is such class sophisticated perfume if you really pay attention it is kind of perfumes when people pass by you they said to themselves what was nice smell 😀😀 like Hermes 24 faubourg , I will not be checking the intense version becoz the orginal is scent of women thank you so much for review on it I always wait for your beautiful reviews God bless you 🙏💕

I love both libre & the intense version the original is awesome to spray before bedtime very relaxing
This year is so many Intense versions😊.Usually I like Intense versions of parfums, for example Idole L’intense is much better like the original but Libre Intense I don’t like. Original is very nice, sexy, longlasting and Intense is not for me.
When I use this I get many compliments! It's actually a bit masculine and has kind of a Maroccan vibe to it. As you said, it's quite bossy.

Just tried it yesterday. I don’t like none of them. The intense is even worse in my opinion, leans very masculine as well.

Fell in love at firsr spray of the intense-its intoxicating deliciousness is just amazing to me. I love it! Lets see how it performs on me, I cant really detect lavender in the intense. Surprised this is classed as unisex. The intense is very feminine and classy imo

I am a fan of the original it’s sexy but not too heavy so it can be worn as an everyday perfume all year round Imo... but i can see how it’s a bit simple for the price for some, yet it didn’t bother me. I’ve worn it to work and my male coworkers absolutely loved it. I’d love to try the new one but sounds like it’s more for date nights and I already own miss Dior & mademoiselle... which i don’t use as often as libre original. The beauty of the original was in the dry down. A beautiful lavender / vanilla that reminded me of Lavandes Trianon by Maison Lancôme.
I love lavender so that is one of my favorite perfumes but I'm definitely interested in checking out the intense . Great video as usual.
Looking forward to trying this new version as I initially really liked the original Libre but started getting a whiff of rubber from it 🤷🏻♀️ which became more noticeable the longer I wore it.
Was searching for my signature perfume for so long.. I tried so many different perfume but I can’t like it but today I just smell libre n fell in love. So I bought it came in RUclips to ppls opinion n m loving it
I wish the original Libre had that much lavender on me. Most of what comes out on my skin is orange blossom, jasmine and vanilla. It's very nice but I get little to no lavender which is what I wanted. 🤷♀️
Maybe it's just that body chemistry thing period have you tried Mon Guerlain yet?

I got a tester from macys and l actually like the smell. I like the sweetness and lavender note l was able to smell. I’m thinking in getting it not sure yet still debating. The bottle is a nice touch love how it looks:) thank you for sharing your thoughts💕🙌🏻

Completely agree I have the Intense and I absolutely love it.
I tested it at my local Shoppers in Canada but wasn’t a fan but maybe the intense is better. I shall have to try it when I see it in stores. You changed your colour on your bed it’s pretty and lovely new pillow.

Love this scent. Hate watered down perfumes. Love it much better than Mon Guerlin and Mon Guerlin intense which is like expensive water, that disappears on my skin. My man agrees, so it’s not anosmia.
I have the same thing with mon guerlain fragrances!!!!!! and that used to creep me ! How come a very niche perfume disappears on my skin like that !! I thought something is wrong with me 😄🤷🏻♀️

I like the original Libre,but on me, the lavender comes out as a more spearmint type smell i am not too fond of! But apart from that its not too bad. Maybe the intense version might have been better for my skin chemistry, if the lavender is more played down in it! Thank you Soki! Anna UK.
I like the Intense version but I prefer the original Libre. I think the tonka bean turns me off in the Intense.
Yes, same. I feel like EVERYTHING has tonka bean, especially fragrances promoted as "fall/winter". Original Libre is more unique I think.

Every perfume now seems to have an intense version, not like the good old days, when there was parfume, eau de toilette, not sure if it's a good idea 😉 or not, as the intense version often has some different notes, and not just a stronger version of the original
The edts usually have different notes in too !
I have the Intense. I luv the bottle, i don't luv the scent. Its ok, but certainly not great. If it had rose in it instead of lavender, im sure i would like it alot more. 💜 i got the smallest bottle, and i def. will not rebuy. 🤗
I got way more reactions and compliments from the original libre than the intense. I could not smell the intense and seemed to fade away after 30 minutes even with combos. The eau de parfum was driving everybody crazy at work, THE MUSK gives it a better and longer lasting smell. The intense is too cut for to the intense. Originally the intense did not do it for me, but I went for a second try because of the compliments I kept seeing it get, but it was an absolute disappointment, I will stick to the regular, its a game changer I loved hearing the compliments when I wore it.
why doesn't my libre intense have any sillage at all ?? 7 sprays and 5mins later zero sillage. and no i am not nose blind to it i can smell my other perfumes just fine. is it due to my bottle being less than 1 year old??
Shrinkflation probably hitting purfumeries, too, by watering them down.
I just bought a bottle at Dillard's. It's strong for about 20 minutes, then nothing. I know it's authentic. 😢

OG all the way but i live in FL so its humid and warm… Le parfum for date nights and fall/winter. The intense was to generic vanilla not intense more softer then the OG.
I'm so glad you said that the lavender is still there. Some other reviews I've seen leave it out when talking about what they smell. Lavender gives me a headache, so I'll skip this one too!

Try Golden decade by zara its 99.9% simillar to libre intense with less longevity ofcourse... but for the price difference worth a try totally recommend 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
I am such a weirdo, I don’t typically like lavender or vanilla alone but together I do. I love mon guerlain, it’s one of my all time faves especially for its intensity and lasting power. I like Libre, but find that within an hour I can no longer smell it on myself. I prefer a more intense and deeper perfume. This one is going on my wish list. Thanks for the review!

If you didn’t like the original I don’t think you’ll like it. I thought the first one was ok but not nice enough to purchase. The intense has the same DNA but this is sweeter, deeper and very vanilla on dry down. I have Mon guerlain too and I do notice similarities.

Hi Suki, i hv just come across ur channel and im ur new subcriber. Can i pls ask ur opinion. Im a fragrance collector but i never own any from CH's good girl or libre yet. Hence, between this Libre Intense EDP and CH Very Good Girl EDP; which one woulf u suggest? In term of longevity, projection, and overall wow factor. Im about to purchase the biggest bottle of one of these two for my next collection. Pls help dear.. Thanks😘
They are two very different scents, depends on your tastes, YSL libre is so grown up and sophisticated in my opinion and and has a monster longevity. CH very good girl on the other hand is also a lovely scent, it’s a sweet floral fruity perfume that has a decent longevity, and will appeal more to younger crowd. If I were to pick I’d go for Libre cos it makes me smell like a million bucks and last a really long time. Hope that was helpful

Is it a lot like mon guerlain? I bought it as everyone said it’s so amazing, but I just can’t like it!! Maybe it’s the lavender - but this Libre reminds me of it and is so masculine. Not my taste - I’m more fruity floral 🌸🥭🍐🍓 Also love vanilla and sweet scents
