Winter is no favors for vehicle drivers. I was stressed when the truck got stuck on the ice." this is madness !" You drive carefully, that's reassuring. Thanks for the video Cassie, take care ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💋
We had the same issue a couple of weeks ago. The roads were all clear, bit the yards were icy and slippery. And also, moving a parked truck was hard, because at the tyres, it formes a little dip you have to get out of. But then again, i concidered it as part of the fun! 🙂 Just be careful, and don't rush the job. If you're late, you're late. Big whoop. The most important stop is the one at your front door, when you get home. Thanks for the video, and I'm waiting for part two! 👍
You have amazing balance to let Viggo pull you and then to hold your phone out to record on ice. You are brave to take on those icy roads with that rig but we all know you are a champ at driving anything! Alfie will be with you always...
Wow!! You get ice and snow like we do in Portland, Oregon, USA. A recent storm dropped trees and power lines, causing $75 million US dollars. I heard that some people were out of electric power for up to 11 days. Thank you for sharing this video, I really enjoyed it. Please be careful in the snow and ice and safe journeys. 😊
Some of out trucks have that aswell :D I put it on by accident once and was very confused haha. I didn't even think about checking if this truck had it, to be honest 😅
Lovely to have you back on the roads and our screens even though it's only for a little while - hope you're doing well despite everything that has gone on, and that you're loving the stuffing out of the new lil puppy 😍🥺
Wow, looks like a long day ahead! I enjoy driving in nasty, cold weather when I have a snug, warm car/truck to keep me comfy. I always listen to a good audiobook, or a public radio talk show. You do have a fun job!
Greetings from Scotland! When I saw the title of the video, I just had to view it immediately! These were the sort of days I hated as a driver! Ween even standing up on a road was hazardous but you still have a place to be - whatever! But it kinda focuses your attention on your job eh! 😊
hope your energy and smiles are not indicatieve of a manic episode. Good to see you again. So what lake or river heva you been riding on? #iceroad The Super is i6 upto 560HP stock?
Good to see you again! Careful on the snow and ice, easy does it. I see in Sweden you've got those parking lots now and then on the highways, like we have here. Why don't those tow truck guys sell hot dogs and coffee? All the lights and no snacks! 8^) Cheers from Canada.
Glad to see you back trucking!! I was worried that you had lost interest after Alfie passed but clearly not the case. Hope you and Vigo get back on the road again soon...2024 will be good for you...Sweden is so beautiful in the winter. I worked on a seismic boat out of Kalmar in the 70"s in the Baltic around Gotland and Oland.. Good times...take care and stay safe..Jack in New Orleans.
That was actually the case :( I opened up my video editing program so many times, but I just ended up staring at it. It feels great to start "coming back" now, after this rough fall/early winter. It must be so cool to work on a boat! :D
Boats are fun but the sea/ocean can be a cruel mistress. I was Captain on an offshore oil supply/towing boat in the 70's & 80's Several years in the North Sea out of Scottish , Dutch and Norwegian ports. Also in the Mediterranean, Red Sea, Arabian Gulf, Gulf of Mexico and South Atlantic (Argentina) Keep gathering your nautical skills and you'll go far. Lycka till!! Jack @@TruckerCassie
Be careful on the ice, you could fall and get hurt and wet. Here we have snowstorm from Friday later afternoon and going to Monday afternoon, up to 100 + cm of snow. What is 3.5 feet of snow 😢😢
Is there still a snow chains requirement for truckers in Sweden?. I used to have an ex Swiss Army Steyr Daimler Puch Pinzgauer personnel carrier truck. It had reinforcd stainless steel tire chains for ice. It had three locking differentials.. Love your Volvo truck channel.😊❤
It's not a requirement here, but it is in Norway :) I have actually never driven a truck that has snow chains equipped. But it would be needed in some situations!
Hi Cassie, Good to see you back after what happened, are you ok?, I'm like you, I hate driving in the snow and thick ice on the roads in a car let alone a big truck, don't know how you do it?, that was some drive, thanks for sharing, Happy new year, Take care hun XX
I'm not sure why really, but I'm guessing because it's easier to park just one trailer rather than two. Especially when doing some deliveries inside cities and so. We do have a few combinations like that in Sweden tho, we call them "link". But they're not really common. And it seems like a way bigger hustle when they are disconnecting to load/unload at the terminals. But I guess it's all what you're used to, in the end :)
Jordbro is nice enough to drive a truck in, at least since i assume you are going to the industrial area. This is the type of trucking i would like to do, but with C only not going to happen. Lol at 16:09 you are very close to where i live that part can be nasty, the construction after Vårby backen does not help much either.
Finally time for a new trucking vlog 🥰
I will publish part 2 tomorrow, Sunday! It feels good to be back on video editing! Thanks for watching! 🤩

10:00 that's why norwegian trucks have a tank of gravel before the wheels. They drop some gravel before stopping. They can go easily the next day.
Some of out trucks have that aswell :D I put it on by accident once and was very confused haha.
I didn't even think about checking if this truck had it, to be honest 😅

looked at caddys you have to do something with new injectors looked at manual shits vw are they a good van
What is the advantage of using a rigid with trailer that is popular in Sweden over a b-train setup like used in Canada or Australia?
I'm not sure why really, but I'm guessing because it's easier to park just one trailer rather than two. Especially when doing some deliveries inside cities and so.
We do have a few combinations like that in Sweden tho, we call them "link". But they're not really common. And it seems like a way bigger hustle when they are disconnecting to load/unload at the terminals. But I guess it's all what you're used to, in the end :)
@@TruckerCassie we also call them links in South Africa. 6x4 truck with both trailers on 2 axles each, grossing 56000 kg for the combination.
