The only thing I want to do with this version of Peach is marry her- Ehhh I mean, it really is a movie that many of us, the fans, have wanted for years, although as an Illumination movie it could have been much better, as an adaptation I find it really charming. Excellent review.

Thanks Potatocraft! (It’s been awhile!) I think they’re gonna make a sequel because after the success of this movie Miyamoto himself said he wants to do more Nintendo movies. I feel like there definitely gonna make a sequel because there’s so many characters and game “storylines” they could incorporate into a movie. So ya I low key want a sequel
Yeah that makes sense lol. I’d be pretty excited for it too honestly in a weird way. Hopefully Wario and Waluigi are in it though if they ever do make a follow up film.
I was watching the movie with my dad and I swear I had the biggest goofy ass grin and I could not get out of my seat. Also you should see the movie’s review for rotten tomatoes if you haven’t seen it yet
Neat review, good example of how people really enjoyed the Mario Movie F**k me for not liking I guess. I legit saw it cinema despite having very little experience with the games Thought I have to admit this movie was better than the Angry Birds (an adaptation of a game I have nostalgia for). The Angry Birds Movie was one of those annoying movies where everyone is d*ck to the main character, yet they expect him to learn a lesson and help all these a$$holes in the climax P.s it’s Fred Armisen, not Fred Armistan 😂
It’s fine to not like the movie. Also I just find the Angry Birds movie to be a dumpster of jokes where very few are funny and clipped to Instagram. However seeing it a third time I did find more problems. With that said I still unapologetically love the movie. I know it’s Fred Armisen both my Mario movie vids I said his name wrong you think I would’ve learned by now 😂
