Laura rightly should be upset with Saliya, he should've told her about his sight when it was suggested he should look after her son. But let's not assume we don't know she came back because the market for a single mother is pretty slim pickings lol. "Laura came back...because she was lonely".
Retinal detachment typically presents with a falling curain appearance rather than blurry vision - painless falling curtains and then darkness. But still, an interesting movie
You forgot the awesome scene in the restaurant (during the date) Celia just continued talking while beautiful girls walked by and everyone turned around. That's what made her so interested in him
so many moments like 2:16, where you can't even have eye to eye contact with people. There are times when I squint out of habit and people think I'm mad-dogging them.
I assume they wanted to have some type of very positive movie, but I would have preferred a movie on his real/full life. It was way more dramatic and at times very hard. Portraying just the happy end lets people believe that if one works hard enough everything is possible and there is no need to change people's mentality and the legislation or open/continue the discussion about same rights for people with disabilities (although, the laws exist, the employers just jump through hoops to avoid complying with them).
@@beatm6948 You are born after 2000, aren't you? The guy was born in the 60s, so he became blind in the 70s. At the time people with disabilities had little support/rights in most countries. I’m literally blind like that in one eye and it’s so annoying but I still try to do my best at work and my supervisors always tell me how I work so hard ❤
Whoa the lead actor looks so much like Gael Garcia Bernal I still can't believe it isn't him! I loved the early wholesome twist that the irresponsible rich kid who's a rival candidate for the job ends up being his most loyal friend! No bad guys in this movie and it looks like a lot of fun anyway.
Whenever you are a person who perhaps, has a crush but is too shy to look at them. Just remove your glasses, or borrow some reading glasses. Problem solved! You will confidentially always face forward
Ok so let me get this straight, he had surgery for his failing eyesight and the operation was successful but he lost 95% of his eyesight?? How does that make sense?
Whenever it comes to eye operation, there's always a risk of completely destroying the patients' vision. Even with some basic operation to get rid of myopia using LASIK technique, the doctor has to warn the patients about certain risks associated with the operation, including blindness.
Perhaps it was a degenerative condition that had progressed that far before it was stopped. You might think that if so much vision was lost it wouldn’t be worth it to do the operation, but every bit of vision counts.
This high expectations nonsense in the hotel would be cool if the hotel was owned by the workers and not lazy people who make money off their hard work and high standards
This story may make you feel good and think it's wholesome but I bet those employees that have to adapt are having to work extra to compensate for their blind guy
From what I've seen it's more the other way around. Having to spend the extra work constantly to familiarise himself with the stuff around him without the ability to see on top of doing the same work to the same quality as everyone else is very time consuming. The people around him taking a few minutes or maybe an hour to help aren't working that much extra to help him, especially compared to how much extra work he's doing himself on top of helping his friend back here and there.
@@aliceinwonderland8314 He presents a saftey hazard to those around him, remembering the scene when he fell into the cake? Broke all those glasses? He's unfit to work, accept it. It's like asking a sociopath to be good at social work, it's just not a good idea for anyone involved.

In real life its impossible to find a friend like that. In my case anyway. People will take advantage of people.
Damn that was a pretty great and wholesome story. Man you can only wish to have a friend as great and loyal as Max.
