HOW TO CREATE CUSTOM LINETYPE IN AUTOCAD AND MODIFY IT

In this video I am guiding you how to make your own LINETYPE and use it in your AutoCADd drawing.
I started from scratch and ended with inserting text in linetype.
Its not very complicated or tough to make a cutome linetype, It requires just basic understanding of values.
Its my own concept and ways to use autocad so if you like it then please let me know in comment. And share it as much as possible.

Thank you so much, it was really helpful, one tip from me if you wanna use some symbol you have to use signs from AutoCad for example if you wanna have Ø25 in your line type we need to write it in this way -> %%c25. Thanks again !

Great in-depth explanation. Perhaps you could consider slicing up into videos of less duration. So that you can slow down a little. This is meant as positive criticism. Your content here is a little too much and hence you are rushing in order to shorten the duration of your video to keep viewer interested. This topic would have made a nice series of three videos of 10 minute duration. In this way you can slow down and this will not only improve comprehension for the learner but keep the viewer interested. Apart from this thank you for posting, most enlightening.

Change drawing scale to 1:50 or 1:100, and MLSTSCALE=1, LTSCALE =1, and you'll be fine with proper shown linetypes.
Fadil Dalipi scaling depends on the dimensions you are working on.
In this video I taught to make coding form starting. It had nothing to do with scaling my friend.

Yes you can do it. But you have to first figure out how to represent it.

There are autolisp available and also there is one option in express tools also to create your own line type. You can do this there also.

That requires special characters. And for that such as / \ and also you can try some special fronts which have symbols. Example AMGDT fonts, GDT fonts, wingdings are default fonts in windows.
Try them and the best way of learning is to experiment.

use > or < Symbol in text to use as arrow.
but if you need only one Arrow in middle of a line then you have to make dynamic block with constrains

I appreciate your concern. But In my all videos I am teaching from basics. Even a new user will also understand it. I know it is so lengthy but to cover all mistakes which can occur during making linetype I had to make this 22 minutes. And still there are 4-5 points left to cover. And I never scripted my videos as I have week memory power. So each videos are one time shot. so please forgive me for the timing but Please appreciate my effort to share my knowledge.

This is the problem of impatient person.
There is not a way to edit linetype already inside a drawing. until you know this basic how linetype works.
Its up to you. you like it or hate it. but you won't find any tutorial teaching all about linetype.
you can use lineout autolisp app to take linetype out seprate. but anyway you need this method to edit that

I don't know what your problem is. I am expert in Autocad. not in video recording and all. Many peoples wanted to know to make linetype by their own because autocad lt doesn't have express tools. I found out these all things by my own. I am not professional in it. neither I have a lot of equipment’s like laptop or mic and all. I was working in a production company I recorded this video in my office in very old laptop. And packaging was going on there. You try to search this content anywhere on youtube and show me. I spent more than 5 hours to record edit and upload. I am sharing this content without monetizing neither asking any donation or financial help. Instead of getting the knowledge I shared here You are criticizing me because of bad recording and editing. This is insane. Because I got 100s of mails and comments peoples thanking me for this exact video. And you are making joke on me. So, if You want to laugh Then laugh on yourself. Because you peoples don’t know to respect other people’s efforts.
