Hey folks i have one story to tell you,when one man in croatia wants to build underground garages for condos he found deutz truck,one mechanic clean all lines change some pipes,filters and oil and deutz started without problems the engine wasn't seized up for more than 5 decades underground,also 1989 one german u boot was salvage she has m.a.n engine and after cleaning and changing filters they started m.a.n engine without problems,so when germans something fabricate it lives forever,regards from croatia.
i have a simular engine (a ma6r 428) in my tug, looks exaxtly the same!, only its a 230 hp at 600 rpm, looks like only a bigger bore? it looks totally equal, only mine has the fuel pump on the right side of the engine, the rest looks totally the same!

Imagine these engines who have earned their respective place in time being replaced by solar panels , windmills and what else the Green movement thinks of when fossil fuels are extinct. Now that's a very smooth sounding engine.
This is why the Germans are the best engineers ever!! This engine is proof of that.
That engine could work for thirty years, and not break a sweat.

This is the engine of the rice mill of my grand parents before deutz 50hp 1954 model
