I was hoping this meant PFT was going to be on Conan Needs a Friend. Paul if you read this, you bring a smile to my face so many times in a week with all your amazing podcast appearances. I love you and I'm in love with you
It’s amazing to see how his comedic style has changed. I was aware of him early on but didn’t really think he’d become one of my favorite comedians of all time.
I feel like Paul is my brother. We both were raised Catholic. We both have Irish heritage. We both aren’t Catholic anymore. We both had a lot of siblings. He is exactly 3 months older than I am. And we both love laughing more than most. I get all of his and Scott’s gen-x references. If Paul can be 51 and still cool as hell and have over a million followers on Twitter, then there’s a chance that I, too, could still be cool.
PFT's old act is rough compared to how he perfected it 20 years later, throwing in great improv and impressions. I wish he had done his peanut brittle joke here.
I love PF Tompkins's sense of humor and stand-up. He is my all-time favorite. However, I wonder if his desire to dress up in suits affected the impression of him to the uninitiated. It may give the wrong impression that he needs to try harder to impress.
I find his lack of a mustache disturbing.
THAT’S what it is!
Have faith, msminimichigan.
I love that Conan uploads these classic clips.
@mukund p well THAT'S telling me that I need to listen to the fkin podcast if he's bringing on PFT!
I think he might get someone to do it for him.
@@greghumphries Nah Conan definitely logs into the Team Coco youtube channel and uploads these himself
I love the idea that conan is uploading it himself. With him being him it involves a very convoluted process with yelling at sona involved
"What is this, a crossover episode?"
doggy doggy what now
@@RonanDonovan007 Ah, A man of culture I see.
I heard that this guy was in a very famous tv show back in the 90’s
@@zacharytrottier7601 Best Week Ever, with Mr. Hutchinson!

Paul if you read this, you bring a smile to my face so many times in a week with all your amazing podcast appearances. I love you and I'm in love with you
I met Paul a few months ago after a CBB show in Toronto and he was just as warm and funny as I had hoped.
Buddy, have I got news for you!
@@PariahScary Oh my god! Thank you for letting me know!
Doggie doggie what now?
A strangely 1960s look for a 1930s dandy

You're a real loser then
@@shameblamenamegame Poor dimwit.
@@shameblamenamegame well tf was THAT?
shameblamenamegame True, I should’ve appreciated him more from the very beginning....
Paul F. Tompkins without a mustache is an incomplete Paul F. Tompkins
Cake Boss?
(cakeboss.)
Paul got much funnier later, his album Laboring under Delusions is 10/10
True, but hey.
Honestly, this is good material too. I had a great time :)
He's always been funny, this crowd is just too stupid to get his humor.
@@TheAntManChannel you're damn right
Oh, Paul...
You've come so far.

NoGuffGames OMG is it really OMG IT ISSS
“The potato robber”
The singular best man in the comedy industry.
William Bonney I just listen to a lot of podcasts. Although it’s both at home and on the go.
Conan launching 85.000 different podcasts.
Ca-ca-ca-ca-CAAAAAAKE BOOOOOOSSSSS
He's the introduction guy from the Tenacious D movie!
The next band asked me not to read this, but I'm going to read it anyways... because I wrote it; and it's the truth!
Heynong man!
Heynong man
Heynong man. Reset!
He's worth the wait.
I feel like Samwise Gamgee watched this right before explaining to Gollum about potatoes.
the face of depression!
I heard a crime go!
Mr. Peanut Butter made it to another TV show.
A clip from . . . the 1800s!! You know, before entertainment was invented.
Watch more classic stand-up sets from "Late Night" to now. conan25.teamcoco.com/standup
PFT is the sht. Thank you conan & Co! Invite him back on already!
PFT!!!!!! MY FKIN MAN!!!
PFT's old act is rough compared to how he perfected it 20 years later, throwing in great improv and impressions. I wish he had done his peanut brittle joke here.
Mr Peanutbutter 🦮😊
I just started listening to Spontaneanation and then this comes up
Who's that dog Mr Peanut butter!!!!
back at good ol' largo on fairfax.
Good thing there were no mail persons in the audience
Technicality no down boo over?
Anyone else Google this just to hear the voice actor of Mr Peanutbutter to compare?
That was so funny
Got scared when this channel uploaded a random Paul.F.Tompkins clip. Is he ok!? What happened to Paul!?
@mukund p hope so, that would be a great crossover episode
amazing gabbo I actually also thought the same thing until I read the description luckily before I ended up googling him up instead.
I think David Lynch one-upped PFT with the last line of the third season of Twin Peaks. "What year is it?"
Look up ....Tompkins Pie verses Cake. It's hilarious!!!!
PFT is THE BEST.
Bow tie Paul > baby face Paul
Still love him tho
he's really grown over time, he's funny now
I love PF Tompkins's sense of humor and stand-up. He is my all-time favorite. However, I wonder if his desire to dress up in suits affected the impression of him to the uninitiated. It may give the wrong impression that he needs to try harder to impress.
It’s weird seeing PFT without his mustache
Looks like a completely different guy.
Who's that tall drink of water
I hear Gladstone Gander?!
I didn't know PFK was a fat guy at one point.
Well the Irish lived ok before Potatoes. The Potato is from South America anyway
The child of Alec Baldwin and Stephen Segall
Oh, PFT was so cynical back then
So underdressed
David S. Pumpkins?
Man. That was rough.
PFT without the mustache feels naked. Like I feel like I shouldn't be allowed to watch this
Sad Dog
Lacking the nuance of a great comedian... though from the comments apparently he gets better, I should watch some of his later stuff
I think we're all just podcast fans. And he's incredible in the format.
@@chrislovesyoubb tbf his later stand up is incredible too. Even his Comedy Central Presents from around this era was more polished.
What the hell conan
Baby Paul, peak cringe, wonder if TeamCoco asks people if they mind old stuff being posted. :B
Get rid of DST!!
Not as good as James Veitch, but clever nonetheless. Love these old school clips :)
eh
Man, I like Paul F. but fuck me was he painfully unfunny in this.
This was embarrassing
Yikes. That was painful to watch.
First
Who cares? Lmao.
Lmao he doesn't know what the potato famine was, potatoes were one of the only things they did have and what they survived on.
Not Funny at all
Not... very... funny... ? :/
Am I the guy that hears jokes about the potato famine and says "too soon"?
This guy is out of touch
Maybe because the clip is over 20 years old.
This video is from the 90s.
