    As Mexican girl who loves Serbian music I find YuMex music so interesting. Even today Balkan artists like Saša Kovačević, Jala Brat and Maya Berovic take a lot of influence from Puerto Rico with their Reggaeton inspired songs.

    I heard about Yumex music from Mazzini's website several years ago and have most of what's available on MP3. I've seen this documentary a few times. I'm from Texas in America so some of the tunes and music is familiar to me, and I know Spanish.

    The connection between Emilio "Indio" Fernandez and the Oscar statuette was her friend Dolores del Río, another Mexican actress, and her friend (and later husband) Cedric Gibbons, who created the Oscar statuette. So Fernandez was Cedric Gibbon's wife's friend.

    • @pincheguey1325
      @pincheguey1325 5 лет назад +10

      No, it was Lazaro Cardenas who promoted the music from the country side to Mexico City and the world.
