Hey there! I too made a video on the "Top 10 Greatest Mathematicians" which went viral. So I was looking at similar videos to mine and happened to find your video. I must say your video is brilliant! Great Job! I agree with all the 10 mathematicians you mentioned! And Love the background music! Don't worry about the negative nonsense some people say because some people will get offended if their countrymen aren't mentioned and those people happen to be the least literate.

Surprised not to see Ramanjun who is widely regarded as the most brilliant mathematical minds to have born. Many have now realized what he did in just a short span of 33 years may not have been possible for some of the best minds in mathematics.
Citation needed. Euler contributed a quarter of the combined published research into the fields of maths, mechanics, fluid dynamics, optics and astronomy. He was publishing an average of 800 papers a year.
Despite our deep respect for Ramanujan and his achievements in mathematics, in our point of view Ramanujan would be 13th on this list and in the list of the greatest mathematicians of the twentieth century will be in 3rd rank (this video will soon be featured on the channel). This view has been obtained by careful study and comparison of the achievements of these mathematicians and its impact on the flow of mathematics. Galois, for example, who ranks tenth on the list, was a highly influential mathematician and was the first to consider mathematics a science of structures, and he can be boldly considered the father of modern abstract algebra. Everyone knows that he achieved all these achievements only by the age of twenty.
Galois should not be the the top 10, having tragically died quite young. Fermat probably should not be in the top 10. I would put Euler #1, Gauss #2 or share #1. Erdos, Ramanujan, Descartes, Turing, von Neumann, Cantor, Napier, D. Bernoulli, Hardy, Cauchy, Euclid, Noether, Wiles, Godel, etc.
Black holes are discovered in 1960's, where as Ramanujan predicted it with his formula's in 1900's. Most Underrated Mathematician... No One Ever in History reached the heights as Ramanujan reached in mathematics.

Euler, Gauss and Newton should in every sensible guy's top 10 mathematician list.
I think you have Gauss and Euler reversed. Both great.
Gauss is Prince of mathematics 😏 & EULER is King of Mathematics 😏
Probably Euler have contributed more in term of quantity. But Gauss research has "more influential impact" on modern mathematics.

They are all great in their work, and there are a lot of great mathematicians who aren't listed here.

You say short span about Ramanujan then see the span of Galois and what he does
+ Hardy

Actually, Hilbert was a much deeper mathematician. Some of Ramanujan's findings were later shown to be false.
Where is Ramanujan?
Yes
Got a lot of raw talent. But, he didn't write as many papers as these 10 guys
I think Ramanujan and Euclid should in this list.
Euclid is hardly post medieval
Ranking mathematicians is so silly.
At last, a sensible comment on RUclips!
Careful! Your account may be cancelled!
Newton would be definitely third.

Where is Augustin louis cauchy
