The next day John Barnett the whistle-blower was found shot in the head inside his car outside the motel he was staying at for the trial. It didn't save Boeing though because that day another report came in about a plane failure and pitted Boeing against the wall. The most recent news I've heard is the fbi is now sending letters to all the passengers aboard the flight that they might have been victims of a crime and the fbi might question them if they have any relevant information.
Its just gonna get covered up sadly since a lot of powerful people have investments in Boeing, which might be why they started cutting corners to increase profits in the first place according to something I read. It wasn't just malpractice and cutting corners, he said there was a deep culture of concealment too. Two people resigned but we're not getting real justice past what his lawyers can achieve. One of his family members or friends apparently said he told them "if anything happens to me it wasn't suicide" which sounds pretty on the nose, but maybe it's true.
I used to work as hotel maintenance supervisor and my main thing was asking the front desk for which rooms were empty in order to fix the toilets that had problems flushing and just sleep on the chair for an hour or two.
I've never heard of a train person going postal though. You might think they're weird but they're not doing anything crazy. They just like trains, lol.

Apparently a local woman started printing them out for friends and family in the 1800's and they were so popular, she started commercially printing them. Can't remember the lady's name, but it's something they would tell us in elementary school.

The company that was in charge of the ship cut costs by hiring foreign workers at 50% of the going rate for that type of work, inexperience in the captain cause when whatever went wrong happens he's supposed to yell drop anchor, and whoever was in charge of that ships operating system left a turn order in the stack and probably kept adding orders so he could get out of port without removing that final left turn it took. Also that ship should have been being pulled by tug boats.
