A proud mom has shared her toddler son's excitable daily routine when his father comes home from work. Asha Lane, from Atlanta, Georgia, started noticing her son Zion's daily darts to the door when his father returned home in November 2023. Each afternoon, Asha said, Zion would excitably head to the door when he heard it unlocking, screaming, "Hey," "Hello," "Daddy," or "Dada" when his father Nathaniel, 30, entered. As soon as 17-month-old Zion hears the door unlock, he stops whatever he is doing, Asha said, so she starts recording short clips of his wholesome routine. Asha later shared a compilation of Zion running to his father on social media, which soon went viral. The video, posted in early December 2023, has been viewed more than 30 million times. Asha said Zion continues to run to his father daily.

ALL OF A SUDDEN, I'M BEING TREATED LIKE NOTHING MORE THAN A HANDY TAXI BY HIS SELFISH DAD...I'M NO LONGER TREATED LIKE THE ONE WHO GAVE HIM HIS FIRST SPOON OF BABY FOOD, TAUGHT HIM HOW TO TALK, WALK, TOOK HIM TO THE HOSPITAL WHILE HIS MOM AND DAD WENT ON DATES AND NEVER CAME TO THE HOSPITAL TO SEE IF HE WAS WELL WHEN HE CAUGHT COVID AT SCHOOL OR HAD A BAD FEVER AT NIGHT...WHEN THEY LEFT HIM KNOWING HE WAS SICK, GAVE HIM HIS FIRST PRO BARBER SHOP HAIR CUT, TOOK HIM TO MOVIES EVERY SATURDAY. KEPT HIS BELLY FULL, TAUGHT HIM TO READ AND WRITE. TOLD HIM TO NEVER GET FRUSTRATED...TO TAKE A FEW MINUTES, THEN TRY AGAIN, TAUGHT HIM ABOUT GOD, JESUS, ASKED HIM IF HE WANTED TO BE BAPTIZED....YES, TAUGHT HIM HOW TO SWIM IN THE GYM POOL, taught him Spanish and sign language. My sister (almost 40y/o but with developmental delays that make her decades younger mentally) still does this. She’s such a Daddy’s Girl and the highlights of her day are Dad calling her to let her know he’s almost home from work, him entering the home, and him coming up from the home gym in the basement so she can start spending time with him.

@@derricklangford4725It’s a normal part of a toddlers growth pattern…they straighten out. It happens in the womb to some babies as they twist in different positions.
@@derricklangford4725 it actually is not normal, it happens from when they are stood up and held in a standing position before it is time for them naturally. And when they are pushed to walk before they naturally start wanting to, they do not always straighten out, I went to school with plenty of people who legs stay like that.
