Realizing now that the riddler is not staring at Bruce saving the little boy because he’s speculating about him being batman or anything like that.. he’s looking at him that way because wayne is his next target.
I still believe the theory of Riddler knowing batmans identity but not telling him so he doesn't get exposed on camera is revelant. He sent batman to the werehouse for no reason and sent bruces house who was assumed to never leavee the house a bomb.
So deep
@@DarrenSmithMusic Yeah I noticed that on one of my viewings as well. It’s also why that old guy in the beginning suspected he knew Bruce Wayne and looked him up & down in disgust because he most likely was one of Riddlers followers as knew Wayne was an upcoming target.
@@U.S.A.IS.A.BRIT.PROTECTATE he was the guy he repeated “I’m vengeance” to Batman after getting his face caved in if I remember correctly
@@IHunter2k is it really that hard though to know it was Wayne ? I mean, Gothman was a hole, most people poor af and obvs the person who had all this stuff, the suit, vehicles had to be young and wealthy and Wayne does nothing to hide his arrogance.

BAHHHAAHAAHA!
What i love about this portrayal of Bruce Wayne is that he's in constant Batman mode 24/7 regardless of whether he's in the suit or not, he hardly says a word in this scene to the point that he almost completely closes himself off from everyone in public and immediately springs into action to save the mayor's son from being run over by the car. I had serious doubts going into this Batman movie about whether or not Robert Pattinson was the right fit for the role but he completely proved me wrong and delivered an amazing performance. I am seriously looking forward to seeing more of him in the sequel and mega props to Matt Reeves for doing a fantastic job in directing this masterpiece.
Just like cartoons
He's gotta build Bruce Wayne back up. He's perfected the Batman side of him, the true side, but he needs to build that facade. I think that's what his arc will be in the next one, realizing the importance of the diplomatic edge.
Exactly, I agree completely.
Correction: It was the mayors son.
Ever since seeing Robert pattinson in “The Lighthouse” i have had faith in him, he was young in twilight but he’s really matured into a fine actor.
I love that shot of people running around panicking except for one man standing there completely still and you instantly know who it is. Just sends chills down your spine
Battinson in one movie is better than Christian Bale's Batman in 3 movies
Love how Bruce looks physically ill and is also sporting a black eye, just humanises him even more 👌🏻

This Batman is the most emo of all Batman and I love that.
All batmans are broken people. He's a guy that dresses up as a bat and prowls the streats at night because he's still torn up about his parents
He's not our Hero. He's a silent guardian. A watchfull protector. A dark knight. - James Gordon
The dark knight trilogy will always be my favourite but the Batman is right up there right behind it for me!

its insane that at the beginning of this scene he's told he 'doesn't do enough for the city'. I can't think of someone in Gotham who does more than Batman
But the lady doesn't know Bruce is Batman !
@@mikelascow4159 It's called dramatic irony.
If I recall correctly in this film Bruce is kind of a mess and he's only about vengeance and Alfred has no luck getting him to have any interest in managing his estate. Among other things he's ignoring the potential of how his money could help things and only at the end of the movie he drops the "I'm vengeance" thing and wants to begin doing more than beating up and scaring thugs.
"You aren't doing anything for this city"
"A part of me is."
anyone else get chills when batman walked out of the dark like that?
"No more lies To The BATMAN." - The Riddler, 2022
The next scene reminds me of jigsaw which is great. Loved how riddler used the riddles to expose the DA thanks to Batman answers.
This is acting. Not a single word said but so much emotion.
That kid is going to become this universes Robin and you can't change my mind
They'd probably want a bigger name
Matt Reeves laughed at this theory and instantly denied it. Perhaps the director of the film and the upcoming films can change your mind lol
Also Robin was older than this kid and was part of the Flying Graysons, not the mayors son.
@@The.Usurper Oh I trust me I know, I'm actually writing my own Batman & Robin movie. The director may have 'denied' it but since when does that really mean anything in hollywood? People deny things all the time. That kid character def has a future in Matt Reeves Batman movies
Yeah a kid that come from corrupted father
You can like him as Batman or not but without a doubt his acting skills are phenomenal.
The scarier part of this scene was the screams coming from Far away along with the loud violent noises of the car. Because it was all left on the Imagination and anticipation of the incoming disaster/ danger, it was more really scary.
Director did a great job.
Starting to realize that this batman is really dark
Despite being PG13, this felt very R-Rated.
Yeah, I also can't see anything
I love how the movies shows Bruce's neglect in his real identity. The amount of respect he has as Bruce is completely different from the new Batman, the lady saying he doesn't do much for Gotham is completely clueless, hopefully if the movie gets a continuation we see Bruce improved both as Bruce and Batman.
The lady turns out to be right, though. By neglecting his identity as Bruce Wayne, he has no idea that the "anti-crime" funds his father set up are being embezzled/misused by the very criminals he fights against.
After denying responsiblity for reactor 4 and faking his death, Anatoly Dyatlov deflected to Gotham City and became Chief of Police. What a career
He's delusional, get him to the infirmary
But that aint dyatlov
It’s Viktor Bryukhanov, not Dyatlov
@@retro_vg_repairs3339It's the feed water, been around it all night.
GORDON! your guy is gonna get himself killed in there.. with gordons reaction lol i love that part for some reason
Batman's entrance here is absolutely perfect. He just appears like a wraith out of thin air. The entire place is locked down by the police, and the "SWAT" equivalent guys are scared shitless when he arrives. The heavy thud of footsteps, and he just materializes out of the shadows.
I wouldn't even JAYWALK in this Gotham.
Finally a clip that shows Batman's arrival at the church. 🦇🦇🦇
The best Batman movie since the 1989 release
When the phone rings everyone ducks because they're scared of an explosion except for Bruce!
Somehow that kid just senses Bruce looking at him.
Theory: The mayors son will eventually become a "robin" in this batman trilogy
Definitely my favorite Batman movie
Mine too. A near masterpiece, in my view.
Same
Martinez hates Batman but loves Bruce Wayne - the irony
I love how everyone gets surprised when they see Bruce in public
Fairly certain the guy at the very start of the scene is Joe Chill. It makes his motivations that much more tragic that he doesn't even recognise the person who turned him to revenge.
Never noticed the look
Excellent movie! I love the dark atmosphere and the soundtrack is amazing. The next movie should include the creepy Joker from this film, Scarecrow or Mad Hatter!

When the scenario with the DA's car starts up, we're already leaning forward and listening intently because we, like Bruce, are eavesdropping on the conversation between Gordon and the police chief. It's a brilliant setup.
Now i realised that, when riddler sent the message to bruce wayne with a - ( To The Batman) when Alfred opened it. That moment Bruce thought that The riddler knows he's the batman. But it was a coincidence, Bruce was his next target when here he stared at him. Riddler writes ( To The Batman ) with every note on the puzzles
He is totally unaware that Bruce and Bat is the same person.
"Your family use to give us money, but as far as I can tell you are saving your money? When I'm elected I'm going to change that"
I rewatched this movie and its now my second favorite movie of all time the story, the characters, soundtrack, tone ,environment, acting everything is just perfect but i think the dark knight is a better movie but this is my favorite batman movie for sure🖤🖤
And the visuals are just perfect
I like how he ran home and put on that hard to put on uniform so fast and then ran back.
he drove there - suits in the car. you don't need deleted scenes to figure that out
@@hanselmenezes1406 brother it’s joke lol.
But he waited for nighttime so he can still have that myth title because it's Batman's second year as Batman and Gotham isn't used to him yet and they have no idea how he operates, or even if they should trust him.
I forget who said it, but I remember someone saying that normally people don't think Bruce is Batman because in the public eye, Bruce is really charming and charismatic while Batman is the hardened, ruthless vigilante. In here, no one belives Bruce is Batman because he's so timid, mild mannered, and reclusive that the thought of him being this ruthless fighter is laughable to anyone who doesn't know they're the same person
Imagine if the phone smashed in the car crash
Can’t wait till this one comes out, it might be the best Batman movie ever. But will probably be disliked by people that don’t know Batman, or want an mcu like film.

It’s already out

If they want action movie they can watch transformers
The only ones disliking it must be 10yo marvel fans, I'm pretty sure the rest likes it, even moms.
I love how their first reaction to a car crashing through the building is to get close and surround it when it potentially has a bomb inside.
What spooked me is when the dude behind the fence went into the shadows with the crowd 0:02
Robert Pattinson is phenomenal
1:34 Edward saving Bella
This was the darkest moment ever in the Batman movie franchise
the way he bleeds out of the darkness is something
Bruce is so serious. So rational. So cold. So logical.
This is my favorite scene in the movie.
The dark tone this movie had, reminded me of the Batman video games (Arkham Asylum/Arkham City) Especially since majority of the movie is based at night time. That’s what really caught my attention.
The enlightening Lincoln door chime when he opens the door is hilarious makes the whole scene ackward🤣
Really enjoyed that movie, cinema experience was litt with all those effects and blasts i wish they had made it in 3D
What a movie 🎥.great 👍😊
I love this ....best acting of this man
I feel like the riddler is ghost face of this movie
Yeah definitely more like Ghostface and not Michael Myers like someone said.
one of the best 3hrs in my life. i hope they will post the part 2 of the movie
Leave it up to the politician to spend more time asking for money anytime given... even at a funeral
Its also interesting that Bruce gets dressed down as a wealthy person many times in the film. I believe not enough people talk about that impact. I really think this guy saying it didn't catch anyone or help his daughter, I believe stuck with Bruce.
My favorite movie.
A visual masterpiece, no doubt.

This scene is wonderful, finally they wrote a Riddler worth watching. He's my fave villain
Awesome this sequence
I love this batman movie even though I did fall asleep at approximately the 2 hour mark. This feels like the perfect batman for a batman and Robin sequel
I watched some scenes being filmed in Liverpool , crazy watching places I walk past every day up on the screen of a big film like this
You should try stand-up that was really original
Despite i grew up with Christian Bale batman but we can't forget how great robert patterson as Batman was
The sound engineers and music producers for this movie should be paid extra next time.
This is how you make a DC movie without all those heavy CGI nad VFX
That's why DC rules
This is a awesome scene.
Matt Reeves as Officer Helium.🤣
This is how you do a Batman reveal. Like he's the titular villain in a slasher movie.
The shot of the EOD bot stopping at the DAs foot will always be funny to me
When Bruce saw Edward Nashton staring down at him from the balcony, what do you think gave him the inkling that Nashton was the Riddler, although he didn't know at this point?
He didn't know it was Nashton, but he knew it was the Riddler. "Serial killers like to follow reactions to their crimes; Riddles might not be able to resist," and lo and behold, as the car comes barreling into the church, one man is standing perfectly still over-looking the scene.
@@ylowknfe Exactly. Riddler’s body language in such a stressful situation told the whole story.
There was a commotion outside yet the riddler doesn't go look out to the window like the rest of the normal people, because he already know the main action will happen on where bruce is standing.
I swear this movie is pure art, It's such an incredible film!
I really liked this movie. It felt like it was Christopher Nolan meets David Fincher they way it was done.
I dont think people appreciate how difficult it is to portray the riddler as a menacing character. I'm glad they went with Paul Dano and the very dark calculating portrayal of the riddler not some comical top hat wearing clown
Imo this is not the definitive Batman incarnation (that is and always will be the late Kevin Conroy). But this is my favorite live action interpretation of the character and very well acted. Pattinson may well be one of the best screen performers working right now, and he is a better Batman than we all thought he would be.
I can say that I think Pattinson has the potential to be the definitive LIVE ACTION Batman but of course no one will ever top Kevin Conroy because he’ll always be the definitive general Batman outside of the comics of course. Pattinson nailed it
Best movie of 2022 , and one of best of batman movies loved ❤️ it
Best batman villain i have ever seen, Paul Dano is so gorgeous
I remember, decades ago, the colombian mafia doing this exact thing. Ending: The victim and the bomb deactivator died.
