I am actually happy love is blind - japan was totally different from America.. it feels like it is so much more serious/respectful towards eachother then the American version, that one just feels like a reality show. Exactly what Wataru-san is mentioning here! And the immense drama.. maybe the drama part didn't make the cut in the Japanese one, but the documentary feel, felt so much better. I have absolutely loved the Japanese version immensly! Thank you!
I recently watched love is blind in Japan after watching love is blind in America. I absolutely fell in love with your culture and both you and Wataru. From the beginning there was so much respect. It was honestly a breath of fresh air watching both fall for each other with every new day. I’m so happy it worked out I would have cried if it didn’t 😅

My husband and I lived two hours apart, so much of our relationship consisted of our phone conversations. His proposal was even over the phone - one week, he asked what I was doing on Wednesday night, our usual night to talk (when you paid for the call by the minute), he said "let't go to Mikes (a friend who owned a jewelry store) and pick out an engagement ring. I have a question for you both - based on my limited understanding of the phrase, did either of you experience Koi no yokan (恋の予感), or the premonition of falling in love when you were first talking? Did any of the other participants mention this when they left the pods? If my understanding of the concept is not correct, please explain how it should be understood! I think we were curious about sleeping in the same bed since in the us version it's a very big deal for a lot of couple ! I feel like Japanese version is much more respectful, we saw less of your intimacy and wondered a lot. That's personally why I didn't see coming some breakups or didn't understand why some peoples had issues
