I live in a place where it’s always hot and that’s cold for us lol
After I got my braces off, my orthodontist told me to wear my retainer full time for 2 weeks (looks like top and bottom Invisalign trays) and then only at night for the rest of your life. I usually only wear my retainer about 3 nights a week, you just need to check often if they still fit. If they feel tight, wear them that night.
I actually have the plastic retainers and when I first got them I had to wear them 24/7 but after a few months they told me to wear them at night only, and yes if you don’t wear them your teeth will move lmao.
So lucky to have a beautiful loving mom💕

They give you one because your teeth will move once you stop wearing the trays . So to prevent it you wear the retainer . & You just clean it . I have a permeant bottom one and just wear my top at night. But the first year I had to wear it everyday and night.
your teeth move more at night than during the day so if ali gets a retainer after invisalign she’ll get a retainer for night and you can get a kit to clean them, i do that!!:)

for retainers for the first few months u have to wear them 22 hrs a day, then after the first few months u only wear it at night.

most people get permanent retainers and separate ones that you only have to wear at night

Yailany, I have retainer for 24 hour/ before I had two braces , one on year of 2016 other 2017 to 2018 .on 2018 June waear a braces on while I had surgery.I have 3 dental appointment because I had 13 of surgery's for my jaw and past I had so many lost my baby tooth, new tooth back my teeth. Now I see my teeth so much better and happy that I want, it's really over budget but it's worth. I can bites little better.soon I have other surgery for implant new teeth in my mouth😀😀😀😀😀
