I don't think it was dogs in general, just Elizabeth Taylor's dog. Small dogs tend to be more guarded. There's a story about him finding a stray puppy in a parking garage and he donated to the shelter it went to.

u mentioned about interviewing one of the dancers from thriller im almost positive that vincent paterson was one of the back up dancers in thriller he was also in the beat it music short film and went on to coregraph some other iconic mj videos such as the way u make me feel and smooth criminal just thought i would put that out there ha!
