VPD is full of garbages. They should have a good cleaning long time ago. But well from top to bottom full of it. What can you do?
I thought blackmail was against the law and you could be arrested? So is it because he’s a police officer that they’re not going to arrest him for blackmailing her? Seems like a double standard!!
Well when your working with a basket of deplorables its not surprising. Even she herself was a deplorable cheating on her husband
yup
Right on.
when you're emotionally jerked around you MAY do all kinds of things as a response. ALSO, this ain't 1950 any more, where "adultery" would deny the female ANY kind of divorce support (including the kids) but the man would have DE NADA happen to him. IT'S 2023.
Yea I have no sympathy for her, she’s scum too.
@@louisliu5638 Women gonna women. Now we have no fault divorce, the opposite extreme. Look where that got us.
That's nature of cops
He was a sargeant at the time he blackmailed a fellow officer,so he was on the force for quite a while.Makes you wonder ,when it comes to the most vulnerable women. Also the senior cops that let him stay on the job should also be held accountable.
If this is what he does to a fellow officer think what he won't do to a citizen given the chance. And these are all "police officers."
What a joke.
@@chrislim7976 "what he would do" not "what he won't do" 😁

Are you sure you should be advising others on English and giving yourself a thumbs up?
The meaning of my comment was and still is correct.
@Chris Lim if your comment is still correct and you meant what you wrote then you must have meant that the two police officers involved in the suicide of their colleague must be so monsters that there is nothing bad left that they won't do do to a fellow citizen, and this is quite an exaggeration! You seem to be hating the police.
The VPD has a sociopathic culture, internally and externally with the public.
The ONLY way to get any kind of control over the culture begins with BODYCAMS and holding every one of them accountable for their behaviors, on and off the job. These behaviors are indicative of the old saying, "While the cat's away, the mice will play". The public represents the cat, rendered powerless and without any level of actionable recourse without investing exorbitant amounts of time, effort, and money.
Bodycams have been well overdue for some years and overspending is the only excuse for not implementing the strategy. 2022 ended with about $1m over budget.
Until the bodycams have been fully employed, I encourage everyone to FILM THE POLICE.
“Government is not reason, it is not eloquence,-it is force! Like fire, it is a dangerous servant, and a fearful master; never for a moment should it be left to irresponsible action.”
As far as the suicide goes, "Live by the sword, die by the sword".
Seen the latest with Billboard Chris and Constable Buchman?
@@theronash7269 Yes of course. Who hasn't seen VPD's smiling psycho 3081 and her posse of blithering dolts? "Rakesh Dutt" has one of her too if I recall correctly.
I am pretty sure she's and her gang are acting on orders, an agenda.
Police chose not to make arrests based on the footage provided to them for the earlier attacks, played silly games with Chris to have him turn off his cameras so he couldn't record the conversation with them, and failed to assemble a presence, a show of force, or to assert that any violence would result in arrest. This is not how 'peace keeping' works nor is it part of an investigation.
Their lack of due diligence, protocol, and duty, ENABLED the 'mob' to re-attack Chris a third time and right in front of them. The fact they chose again not to arrest and charge anyone makes it perfectly clear of an agenda. What those orders were is highly anticipated however, don't expect anything but a spin-doctored rambling of BS.
The first time I seen Kunt-stubble Buchman, I thought she was cute but it didn't take long to realize she is just another disgusting sociopathic sow.
this little Chinese female-cop had a bit of a weak spot below her belly button, what else one could expect?
Sad that the hospital just took her word that she wouldn't harm herself, is that how easy it is to get out of there? She allegedly did this because she didn't want to get caught cheating? That doesn't make much sense, she had sex with another man so she couldn't have been that in love with her husband to start with so why be so distraught over losing the marriage. That male cop needs to be punished.
@Epikus 2.0 I'm starting to think that's more likely the scenario. What would she stand to lose if she cheated? Clearly she wasn't that into her husband to begin with. Also, adultery is very common these days, like drinking your morning coffee. No social stigma around it anymore (that's bad). Women get to reap a lot of rewards from marriage. So...this doesn't add up. Her husband is suspect if I were a detective.
Alternative explanation is that she was coerced by the first man she had relations with as well. That would make more sense and fit the story. In that case, she was quite the victim.
You can be "in love" with someone and cheat, they aren't mutually exclusive. People make mistakes, read a book.
HR and all Superintendants all need to be fired and blacklisted.
Why do companies need HR? So useless.
Why? Hr and the management fired her and those two got involved. I think they did the right thing
All too often someone who feels the need to belong gets caught up in ugly behavior in order to belong and along came somebody else to exploit this person. The officers behind the curtain should be investigated otherwise this inquest will lack depth.
Cheating on your spouse is "feeling a need to belong"? Do not distort the information.
@@jojogo22 Did you know her that well? You must have slept with her too in order to know that. What's the deal?
@@anonymity11 Who was cheating who? I suspect one doesn't kill themselves over something lite
Shit happens, some people are just screwed, can't save everyone and not everyone wants to be saved. After being married to a police officer and experiencing the members of this profession i am convinced the work attracts some unbalanced people.
I fully agree, Not just the VPD. The RCMP is full of them too, very sick people.
yeh, my bro-in-law (a cop) re=married after my young sister died, and knocked up a 17 year old. I just found out after over 40 years (from my sisters' maid of honor) that he was using his cop "training" to do all kinds of selfish things. If she had lived (drunk driver) I'm sure that would have been the first divorce on either side of our family line.
Very sad for her. May she R.I.P. 🙏
When NWA wrote the song "F the Police", they weren't writing about this
This is just a horrible example of abuse on the part of the officer who coerced and blackmailed Ms. Chan and the Police department which failed to defend her against her abuser. It is sickening and a tragedy for the Chan family and her friends. It makes you wonder if there are other female officers experiencing abuse by their male colleagues who are supposed to be there to protect and defend.
"Suicide " maybe maybe not
Please ladies never ever sleep with who you work with and if they threaten you record them and then report to a lawyer. Lawyers will eat that ish up like crazy.
I pray for civil justice for the Chan family. Sometimes that is the only way to get it. It really should be through criminal court.
Didn't know yellow fever was rampant at the VPD lol
More like the Chans have white fever
This sickens me having known may police officers here in Vancouver, and that they would allow this to happen to one of their own people and a young female officer on top of that as well.
Truly disgraceful
I have absolutely no sympathy for her, she was cheating on her husband...
Right ✅️ ...she was not innocent in the matter
She was married??! I wasn’t following much of the case
She wasn't being faithful. But being blackmailed by Van Patten? That's a crime and VPD Fd up
Sounds like a one sided story where she plays the total victim. Sounds like in reality that she started cheating and then it got over her head.

At the end of 4 months training, this woman claimed herself getting sexual harassed by one of the male candidates and threaten to report to the media. After a quick investigation and followed by court martial. This male candidate was terminated and the so called victim got promoted 2 ranks and became a Lieutenant right away.
