Using Canva For Easy Sticker Sheets - Cricut Hack

- Uploading sticker packs in Cricut Design space is TEDIOUS! I can't tell you the number of times that I skipped making stickers because of this. Well, I tested a theory inside of Canva (a FREE online software) and it was AMAZING! Follow along in the video to find out how I did it.

I always have a problem with my cricut reading the black regs lines
A few things that I found that have worked at different times - 1. shining a light on the machine. 2. Closing the top lid so that the cricuts build in eye light can read better. 3. using candle wax a rubbing it across the black lines (especially if you have glossy paper). 4. Taking a black permanent marker and going over the black line. I know it sounds crazy, but my machine has a mind of own sometimes, so I try and work with him when I can lol

Must admit, I'd rather design mine own or alter the designs. Can I also sell the downloaded images and sell as stickers? Thank you
Hi! As long as you have commercial use of the files/artwork, you can absolutely create designs out of the artwork to sell. If you are grabbing your sticker sheets from Design bundles, you are 100% safe to roll out with your physical products. Hello! I have a question (maybe silly)! In order to use cricut, the stickers has to have a white border around? Or it can cut for example a red rectangle? Thank you!
Hi! So you can create the stickers with just a red rectangle. you don't need the white border. That just offers a buffer in case the cricut goes a little crazy during the cuts. If you change your sticker from print and cut to a color in the function toolbar, you can get an idea of what the cricut will cut out, allowing you to judge if the design will be a good one from sticker cuts : )

I love this process of it all being on one sheet instead of having to tediously upload one by one into cricut. My only concern is that since you're saving the entire thing as a PNG then uploading it into cricut wouldn't it cut it out as one? or does removing the "background" sheet separate them all?
When you remove the background, it allows cricut to see the stickers as individuals. The downfall to this, is that to move them around inside of cricut design space, you will need to slice the pieces out - at that point it would be easier to just upload singles. This hack is best for creating sticker sheets easily.
This was an amazing tutorial ---- I really enjoyed your energy and enthusiasm! I've already liked and subscribed to your channel and can hardly wait to try more of your projects. I just cut my stickers (downloaded from DesignBundles) and overall the process went well. My only issue is the cutting was a little off: do you have any suggestions on how I can make sure there is enough outline around each sticker so it doesn't trim too close?
I just kind of played with it. if you are wanting to test it out to work with your machine, i would do a 2 pt 5 pt, 7 pt, 10pt ect. on one sheet to see which one gives you the best results for your machine. i know it sucks to waste material, but it would be just a few sheets at max to test the variety of sizes and once you have it, you.should be set :)
Do you then have to "trace" in order to cut the stickers on your Cricut? I have a silhouette Cameo...

You can use Canva (free) with few tricks like shown here. You could also use gimp or Inkscape (free) affinity (1 time purchase) or use the Adobe series (monthly)
I’m referring to what you imported as a bundle. Those can’t be made on Canva with an outline/border right?

@@svgbyam This is excellent! I did it! Thanks for the easy to follow tutorial. I REALLY want to make my own stickers out of Spanish words that I create as shown in this video, but I can't figure it out. This is good for clip art, but I still want to do words.
What sticker paper brand do you use?
I am actually testing out a few different brands, but one of my go-tos so far have been the online lables sticker paper.
I tried the create ur own at canva and it says not allowed, it should be 1000
