Thanks a lot for the upload...they're so awesome, everyone of them are so talented. Love to hear 'When Destinies Align' live for the first time. Japanese are so lucky to have so many awesome all-female bands, they have so many talents. Been following them for months now, I'm so hooked! It's no wonder they're awarded Metal Hammer Best New Band.
Sad to say it would be the same in the US. I believe that's why they don't tour here. Metal is not very popular in the US since the early 80's "Dua Lipa" "Lizzo" Megan the Stallion" and "Lil Nas X" is. Sad that I know that isn't it.
@@lard1892 US going soft is not the issue, as witnessed by live Metallica (ruclips.net/video/zaZswCtNmEg/видео.html). I think the issue is more one of prejudice. Even among the the fan comments here, I see qualified praise (“awesome female heavy metal band” etc), when it could just be “awesome heavy metal band.” I’m all for acknowledging the fact that they are women who shred, but sometimes it’s phrased in ways that make it a back-handed compliment.
@@lard1892 I have the same thoughts that unfortunately I just can't see them playing to more than small clubs in the US. Heavy Metal like that which they play is just not popular in the US anymore. As in not popular in the mainstream. The US is obsessed with hip hop and Kpop.
@@stephantelm4922 but we can't compare to Metallica because they are a legacy band who sold the bulk of their albums and achieved mainstream popularity during metal's hey day of popularity in the US. Even Slipknot had the fortune of establishing themselves during the last gasp of metal (nu metal) being popular in the mainstream. But now? It's a wasteland in the US music scene. So how does a Japanese all women metal band that is totally unknown in the US playing a style of heavy metal that is not at all popular okay anything more than small clubs? I think it's a big part of why they have not rushed to tour in the US. They can sell out shows in Japan and make good money selling their albums (people in Japan still buy physical media). Touring the US would probably cost them money.

After the "Raise Some Hell" call, Asami worked hard to hide her frustration. But it wasn't completely hidden. They worked hard in a terrible situation. Even with the offer, I don't know if they will want to go to that country next time.

Doesn't sound like it was very loud. Almost like they were doing it unplugged. Weak opening to be honest. A mistake I think was leaving out their original hits like DON'T WANNA BITE THE DUST. Sometimes pushing hard on the latest makes fans from day one feel like...where is the stuff we fell in love with. I would have opened with the AWAKENING INTRO. THAT kicks ass. Not the one they used. BUT HEY I'm not in charge. Nonetheless....great band. Love this band above any contemporary band. Thanks for posting as I download all they do.

As a 70 year old, life time music aficionado, all genres (except Rap, which is not music to me), I've heard most every famous rock, blues, blues/rock, hard rock, metal band, over the years since the early 1960s. Love Bites is the REAL DEAL, one of the most talented, creative bands in the world today. I hope they come to the USA and become a huge global success. To me, Love Bites is like good, aged Scotch.....smooth, but with a "Bite" going down (pun intended!). Love the fact that the band consists of all incredibly talented, beautiful Japanese women, who in my view, can match ANY male band out there, any genre. If they come anywhere near my native Texas, I would pay most anything to see them perform live.

I really love this band and would travel up to about 4 hundred miles to see them. Even love it more if they did TWO different sets two nights in a row. First night their first two albums, Second night their latest stuff.
